Before You Begin

Step 1Ensure your Adwords accounts are linked to your GA account

Step 2Ensure you are logged into the same Google account that has access to your GA account (which is linked to your Adwords accounts)

Step 3Make a copy of this sheet to your own Google Drive account >> file >> make a copy

Step 4Install the Google Analytics Spreadsheet Add On >>Add-Ons >> Google Analytics

Input Tab (All Orange cell's need to be manually set)

Step 5On the 'inputs' sheet set the campaign start date & end date in cell's C4 & C5 respectively - leave as is if you want it to track the current month

Step 6On the 'inputs' sheet: Input Client 1's 'name', 'Budget', 'Analytics View ID' & 'Goal ID number' in Cells: C13, D13, E13, & F13 respectively. ( Note that this should be the View that is connected to adwords and contains the relevant goal)

Step 7Repeat for clients 2 & 3

Step 8Run the Google Analytics Add On Refresh: Add-Ons >> Google Analytics >> Run Reports

Step 9 (optional)On the 'outputs' Can also input the revenue model on this sheet to calculate management revenue

Common Troubleshooting issues

1Ensure you use the VIEW ID, (and not the GA ID), see image below:

2Ensure that the clients view profile is set to the same currency as the adwords account

If you want to use the current month as the campaign period, then use the following formula for start and end date:
