Improving Academic Outcomes: Literacy Goal

Students in grades 3-12 should improve organizational skills and strategies in writing. Students need to be able to organize the materials and thier thoughts to be able to put them down on paper. We will monitor this through daily classwork and interim testing. Elementary students will grow and devlop basic reading skills encompassing decoding, fluency, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.

Using Critial thinking and problem solving skills to solve math problems.

Based on grade level appropriateness, students will analyze, problem solve and use reasoning, appropriate and varied mathematical strategies, modeling and computation to solve math problems. Student should be able to adequately explain thier problem solving process and methods applied to solve the math problem.
