COLLECTIVE MARKSPOINTSTOTALREMARKS
37
1GAITS (Freedom and regularity)717
38
2IMPULSION (Desire to move forward; elasticity of the steps; suppleness of the back; engagement of the hindquarters)6212needs increased engagement for medium and extended gaits and clarity into and out of transitions
39
3SUBMISSION (Acceptance of the bridle. Attention and confidence. Harmony. Lightness of the forehand. Ease of movements.)6212needs more collection/lighter forehand for this level
40
4RIDER’S POSITION AND SEAT (Alignment; posture; stability; weight placement; following mechanics of the gaits)616
41
5RIDER’S CORRECT AND EFFECTIVE USE OF AIDS (Clarity; subtlety; independence; accuracy of test)616
42
Attractive pair with some good moments. Good start at this level but horse needs increasewd power and enegagement from HQ for the level of collection required. Continue your correct aids but add elevation of shoulders/power from hind end for higher scores. Show more clear differ3ence in medium and extended gaits. At this level, transitions should be clear and concise- trot to halt without walk, canter to walk immediately clear 3 beat and uphill. Be careful not to lose points with large circles and half circles or loss of balance in lateral work. Potential for higher scores. Good luck!
