3. Restart the browser and click the download icon, go to Tools/Downloads, Ctrl+J or wait for 10 second.

FAILI don`t know if the final step is the right one, but if closing the browser does not affect the download, why would a crash.

eg: 6 times consecutively (for some reason FF is unable to download the same file at the same time for more then 6 times).
