Athletic Band - FallStruyk, JimThe Central High School Marching Rockets Big Blue Band of Pride is a non competitive co-curricular marching band which represents CCUSD 301 at athletic, school, and community events. The Band of Pride also performs at multiple parades throughout the area and nation including New York and Washington D.C. All members of the drum line and wind section must be enrolled in a section of band or percussion ensemble during the school year. Color guard members may register for an instrumental music class during the first semester, but can participate without enrollment. Athletic Band - WinterStruyk, JimThe Central High School Rocket Loud Pep Band, Indoor Drumline, and Winter Guard are ensembles and groups which represents CCUSD 301 at athletic, school, regional competitions, and community events. The Rocket Loud Pep Band is a volunteer group focused on providing a BIG 10 style atmosphere at indoor sporting events. The Rocket Loud Pep Band auditions to perform at a state tournament every year. Our CHS WInter Guard is a competitive group on both the Midwest Color Guard Circuit through WGI and the IDTA. This group is a pass state champion in the IDTA and has had two members qualify with solos for state. The Indoor Winter Drumline performs for student send offs and community events. This group is the development stage of competing on the WGI circuit with in two years.Tuesday and Thursday Nights starting in November. 15-20 games per seasonAgenda FormLeadership team meets once a week during seasonstudents must be enrolled in band or Percussion Ensemble.
