This document will guide you in basic use of the CF fields and provides a sample CSV column setup for importing into your CASE compliant tool. Take a look at the specifications information as part of the CF package, then there is a sample spreadsheet with the 'old' and 'new' fields information.

Step 1) On your SALT instance, use "Create Framework" first and manually enter that information

Step 2) Follow the prompts to import your document – enter information in the template tab here and export that sheet as a CSV. Ideally downoad the template tab first and then enter the information as needed. If your statements already have an identifier you want to use, SALT will keep that identifier as it loads the framework!

Step 3) With SALT you can move standards around, create new parent folders etc if needed or the data doesn’t load exactly how you thought it would. The main thing is to be sure that SALT can follow either “IsChildOf” to create folders/hiearchies or create a hiearchy based on the HumanCodingScheme.
