Living Hope, What A Beautiful Name, Build My Life, Death Was Arrested, Do It Again, Holy Ground, Great Are You Lord, Holy Spirit, O Come To The Altar, This Is Amazing Grace, King of My Heart, Reckless Love, Lion and the Lamb.... A lot of these songs though could be really bad for the congregation if we did it in the original key. A lot of these we will change the key or find an arrangement in which it makes the song singable. That is important! They love to sing it because it's in their range and singable/playable!
Not sure about the years of these.....

If we ever do an old hymn that we want to be super simple, we record it and upload it to Planning Center for practice purposes. We also record songs with our 4th and 5th grade choir as a tool to help them remember the lyrics to the contemporary songs or modern hymns (the songs we choose normally have lyrics that are word-for-word Scripture).

Lots of word of mouth and/or scouring sources that I trust. Honestly, with several well known ministries having gotten more and more theologically strange over the last several years, I've been struggling lately to find songs that are new, theologically sound, musically excellent, that people are likely to know, and that come from sources that I feel like I can both trust and commend. I feel like I'm increasingly having to make the choice to lead songs that are lesser known (which, sadly, feels inhospitable to new people) for the sake of conscience and not potentially pointing people to ministries/artists who, though having written some great songs, seem to be going too far and not abiding in the teaching of Christ. It's both encouraging and concerning that as I've shared this struggle with other worship pastors I consistently find that I'm not alone in feeling this tension.
In house graphic design, It's me, the worship pastor as the designer. Though for songs is just white text on a black background.
