Step 2: Define your stages

In the 'Settings & Instructions' sheet:

Add each step (stage) of your sales process under the 'Stage name' column.

Assign a closing probability to each stage in the 'Probability' column.

Step 3: Set targets

Add/remove team members in the 'Sales rep' column.

Step 4: Fill your funnel sheet

In the 'Sales Funnel' sheet:

Add your current leads to the 'Sales Funnel' sheet and assign them a stage.

You can also add other data: size of the deal, expected closing date and sales rep working on the deal.

Feel free to add/remove columns from the 'Sales Funnel' sheet.

Step 5: Check your initial metrics

In the 'Sales Forecast' sheet:

Follow your progress in the sales forecast dashboard.

The sales forecast is calculated automatically for you based on your other sheets.

Hover on the red corners of tables/graphs to find out where they're calculated from.

Step 6: Set a reminder every 2 weeks

In your calendar:

Do spring cleaning every one or two weeks.

Check up on all the deals in your funnel sheet and identify the ones that hold up the pack.

You don’t have to get rid of them. Instead, put them in an alternative funnel or create a 'fridge' stage, to follow up on later.
