6Do we as people who work at universities have access to premium? On my end, it says that 'brands' is available for premium, which I can do a free trial for, but is there a way to see if we have access to a premium subscription? (This is a little wordy/rambly, but I'm not sure how to word it, haha)As a Creative campus you should have access to Express premium. What institution are you with?Jun 11, 2025 14:12:59Jun 11, 2025 14:14:04Bridget McNamara - Adobe0

38In adding student accounts to a project, is it possible to upload a spreadsheet with student emails to quickly add an entire course? Or is there a different technique? Thanks.Hi Matthew: the easiest workaround is to just copy and paste an email list from your spreadsheet and paste it into the “Add people or groups” field in the “Share Project” window.Jun 11, 2025 14:23:00Jun 11, 2025 14:26:37Shauna Chung (Adobe)0

40Very sorry, Edge did not work. It's definitely just server issue or something.

I can access my old documents through home or through the Adobe (not express) homepage. So the stuff is saved. It's just... can't make folders, can't make projects, etc.

Sorry I don't have better troubleshooting news!
Thanks for the update! Sounds like a good morning to just watch Matt, and address the projects later.Jun 11, 2025 14:25:12Jun 11, 2025 14:26:33Jill Gray- Adobe0

44I have a question for the speaker! With regard to the colors, I have made a primary pallete and a secondary pallete. (I also made a pallete that has the 4 primary and one of the secondary).

I found remixing buttons on primary and secondary... is there any way to "pull in" one color from the secondary pallette to use with the primaries? Or is my workaround with a combined pallete the right approach?

45How does one separate colors within a brand palatte to primary and secondary hierarchy? When I click the three dots it only gives me the option to make all the colors primary or secondary, not to differential between them. You’ll need to create separate palettes for primary and secondary. You won’t be able to designate primary and secondary within the same palette.Jun 11, 2025 14:30:21Jun 11, 2025 14:31:11Shauna Chung (Adobe)0

47I'm adding by hex code, by copying each one.I’ve also done the manual copy-paste with hex codes, which can be time consuming. One hack I’ve found is to use the eyedropper tool in the “Add Color” panel (toggle to the “Custom” tab) and sample colors on a branding guide page (if one exists). Not the smoothest workaround, but it does save a bit of time!Jun 11, 2025 14:36:17Jun 11, 2025 14:38:29Shauna Chung (Adobe)0

68For accessibility, is it possible to add ALT (alternatve) text to images or is a long description needed for the entie document?Yes, it’s possible to add ALT text to individual images for accessibility. A long description may be necessary to add if the image contains complex information such as charts, graphs, or infographics. In this case, the long description can be included in a caption, paragraph, or an appendix.Jun 11, 2025 15:04:11Jun 11, 2025 15:10:52Nathan Araya0

73The newsletters are really cool! I am curious about the best way to embed one into an email that gets sent out to a large number of faculty. Not sure how to get this to work smoothly when links to articles or events are involved. Embedding as a PDF or image seems to make the links not work.Answering live.Jun 11, 2025 15:12:31Jun 11, 2025 15:13:56Nathan Araya0

81I know we can export as a PDF. But can you export this newsletter as an InDesign (INDD) file for a design student to open & modify in InDesign? Or can we export any other types of Express files as InDesign native files?Export to INDD is not yet supported, but you can import an ID file into Express.Jun 11, 2025 15:18:02Jun 11, 2025 15:20:46Jim Babbage - Adobe0
