Assisting Minister
Sits on the altar bench located opposite the Pastor. Reads the sections of the service marked with an “A” including the prayers. Assists the Pastor with communion.Generally leads from a remote location, but is welcome to be present in the sanctuary.

ReaderReads aloud to the congregation the first and second scripture lessons.During this period, also reads the psalm and the Gospel text.

CantorIs the solo voice leading the congregation in song; present in the sanctuary, using the lectern microphone.

Greeter Downstairs
Welcomes members of our community at the front door of the church and reminds young people that they are loved and are called to participate fully in worship. Points out the layout of the church, including the location of the sanctuary and bathrooms. Hands out bulletins.Checks people in off the registration list; collects information for people not on the list; screens people for temperature; turns away people as necessary. Reviews COVID-19 protocols with folks. Describes the layout of the church, including bathrooms, and the direction of flow for the stairways.

Greeter Upstairs/ Usher
Welcomes people again to worship, and ensures they have a bulletin if necessary. Helps direct people for Holy Communion. Helps to collect the offering.Again reminds people of our COVID-19 protocols. Hands out bulletins as necessary. Explains and directs people to the available, distanced, seating.

Zoom Host[Remote] Welcomes people into our digital worship space. Shares the bulletin at regular intervals. Makes sure that the worship leaders have all checked in. Answers questions or provides support in the chat. Manages the waiting room, muting participants, and making sure the appropriate feed is 'Spotlit' in the Zoom meeting.

Slide Manager[Remote] Shares their screen to put up the PowerPoint slides with bulletin content througout worship.

Altar GuildMaintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the chancel. Prepare the elements for Holy Communion and Holy Baptism. Ensure that the paraments (altar clothes) are changed in accordance with the season of the church year.Similar, except no Holy Communion at this time on Sunday mornings.
