Assisting MinisterSits on the altar bench located opposite the Pastor. Reads the sections of the service marked with an “A” including the prayers. Assists the Pastor with communion.

ReaderReads aloud to the congregation the first, second, and third scripture lessons.

CantorIs the solo voice leading the congregation in song; present in the sanctuary, using the lectern microphone.

Greeter DownstairsWelcomes members of our community at the front door of the church and reminds young people that they are loved and are called to participate fully in worship. Points out the layout of the church, including the location of the sanctuary and bathrooms. Hands out bulletins. Signs people in.

Greeter Upstairs/ UsherWelcomes people again to worship, and ensures they have a bulletin if necessary. Helps direct people for Holy Communion. Helps to collect the offering.

Zoom Host & SlidesWelcomes people into our digital worship space. Shares the bulletin at regular intervals. Makes sure that the worship leaders have all checked in. Answers questions or provides support in the chat. Manages the waiting room, muting participants, and making sure the appropriate feed is 'Spotlit' in the Zoom meeting. Shares their screen to put up the PowerPoint slides with bulletin content througout worship.

Altar GuildMaintain the orderliness and cleanliness of the chancel. Prepare the elements for Holy Communion and Holy Baptism. Ensure that the paraments (altar clothes) are changed in accordance with the season of the church year.
