ODI Flagship: Food Insecurity - Open Dataset
2
3
This workbook contains a dataset that combines both measures related to the risk of food insecurity - such as measures of low income and deprivation - and the support provided by Food Aid charities and food services. The dataset was produced as part of the ODI's Flagship project on food poverty and was created using both data from existing open data sources as well as data provided by organisations such as the Trussell Trust and FareShare, that is being published as part of this project. All measures included are reported for upper or lower tier local authorities. Where reported in the source data, England data is also included. For some measures, an England average is calculated within the interactive tool (from the average among all local authorities). These calculated averages do not appear in this dataset.

In line with ODI's mission, the intention is for others to investigate this data further and create new insights.
