User: A rather well done puzzle platformer that I'd put midway on a continuum between Lemmings and Lost Vikings (doesn't feel like either). There is a limited number of verbs but the stage design does a good job of keeping things fresh. I kinda wish I could take a move back due to how tricky it can be to lay a block mid-jump but that might be cheating. 3The Testimony of Trixie Glimmer SmithTigress: Really, really, really, liked this one. One of the better trans main characters I've seen in a game, and the writing was overall really fun. Lasts exactly as long as it should, but I still want more. You might wanna play Parsnip first, but if you get bored with parsnip you really don't have to.

Lob darker projectiles back over the net, or press space to toss up a new ball and ace an explosion into the enemy crabs/dogs/some kind of lantern wizard. Has a overworld end game but I messed up my keybindings and couldn't go anywhere. Really terrible keyboard controls, no accelleration or easing.
km: controls are better on a gamepad, but I definitely still had to rebind the controls. I agree with falsedan's rating, not a must play but it's worth checking out

3Fortune-499OSB: A little pixel RPG where you play as an employee at a corporation of magic users. You specialize in fortune-telling, and you save your company from making bad decisions, but they've been acquired by monsters who want to fire you. A basic but pretty satisfying rock-paper-scissors battle system where you play cards that change the statistical likelihood of which sign the enemy will throw so you can pre-empt them with the right counter. The game is cute and I might go back to it, but I also don't really like the office setting. Hopefully that part ends quick!

10PALACE OF WOEwrm: I played this one a while back, and I would recommend it. You move around the palace grounds, fighting progressively stronger enemies. Fights combine puzzle and RPG elements.

15XenogunnerTigress: Surprisingly fun little action game with omnidirectional mouse shooting, and a lot of staying out of the way of projectiles. The genesis-style art is refreshing in a world dominated by SNES and NES art style. The writing seems like it's trash but it's breezy and feels good to improve mastery.

10Vision Soft ResetUser: How the hell did this not get almost no attention anywhere? A true hidden gem, yes it is a Metrovania but one with its own identity and a very clever twist on the basic template. The entire world is on a 20 minute time limit, and time manipulation is built into every aspect of the game be it the world, your abilities and the story itself. If you reach a save point it saves the time you reached it at on top of any equipment you've picked up or changes you've made to the world, and returning to an earlier savepoint means you can brach off and create a different timeline. 10Blitz BreakerUser: A Super Meat Boy-esque platformer where you can't walk, instead pressing in a cardinal direction sends you flying in that direction until you hit a solid object that hopefully doesn't kill you. The levels are designed to make use of and test your abilities very well. The game is tricky but not overwhelmingly so until the final set of stages which are legit hard, very much so if trying to get the star for them (I had 1456 death in the game, 960 of them were in the last world). Basically there are always enemies of two different colors that shoot bullets of said color located in the center of the screen that you rotate around kinda like Tempest, with your paddle being a different color depending on what direction you are currently rotating; you reflect the same color bullets back at the enemies while different color bullets damage you. Playing it is often punctuated by random boss battles that can get rather bullet hell-esque. 9PlungeUser: Almost a roguelite sliding puzzle game where you slide as far as you can in any direction which handles both movement and combat, it is smart in that the actual rooms/puzzle layouts aren't randomized, they are just grabbed from a large pool of them.
