6	4/14/20	Federal	Manufacturing	Can the County start tracking and sharing data on loans (EIDL, EIDL Advance, PPP, Main Street) and sharing on business resource website - similar to County's COVID Daily updates? How many PPP funded? How many EIDL Advances received? How many EIDL loans funded? What % of loan funded? This data is thought to help relieve anxiety business owners are feeling.	At this time, we know that at least 150 applications with a minimum $13M of PPP has been approved in the county. These PPP loans are estimated at around 1250 jobs saved. We do not have strong figures yet on EIDL. 4/23
7	4/14/20	County	Manufacturing	How can our municipalities and counties help reduce the cumulative deferred payments that are accumulating? Just some examples - deferring payments over 2yrs? Smaller payments over 48 months? Forgiveness of some taxes?	The County doesn’t have authority to reduce or defer tax payments because we are not a “Home Rule” County. Deferment of municipal (city/town) sales tax would have to be considered by individual towns. (Gunnison, CB, Mt. CB). 4/16

In particular addressing food supply, emergency $, banks - commercial pre-approval access for capital to stockpile, medical stockpiles, ect.	Yes, this will be part of recovery discussion. 4/16
9	4/14/20	County	Manufacturing	Opportunity for using stories from business owners to share wisdom. How can we create a storytelling forum possibly by video to both inspire and and spread knowledge? Is this a project something for consideration from ICELab/TAPP?	County recommends that the ICELab/Tapp consider taking this project on. 4/16
17	4/10/20	County	All	From Betsy Holena @ Health and Human Services: Is there any valley wide information on how many people we anticipated were laid off or lost work due to COVID and its circumstances?(this is for a grant) or any idea where I could find this information? This number will help us not only request additional funding, but budget what we do have a little better. Some of my Spanish speaking families are struggling with teaching from home because they don't have Internet access. Has this been discussed at all? - Came from Devan Haney through IC Slack.	Leslie Nichols, Superintendent “I will continue to work tirelessly to eliminate internet access problems some families are facing. Spectrum is offering two months of free service to new new customers with students. IC Connex is offering free service in their WiFi area in the City of Gunnison. IC Connex and Xtream Internet will troubleshoot particular cases to get families access. I'm working with ViaSat and HughesNet to find solutions for our families who need satellite internet. Customers can ask CenturyLink for the best speeds they can provide. The district still has Verizon hotspots available to provide internet service to families in range of cell service.” 4/10

If they have a cell phone could we help get them unlimited data to help them access resources better? Or how can we help these families through isolation? 24	4/6/20	County	Manufacturing	Forecast and financial data through subscription services to obtain data as a region/county to get market data (public parks and playgrounds) constructions forecasts, general economic forecast indicators. Can you help small businesses get that data?	The County and TAPP can work to share forecasting data from Destimetrics—it is heavily focused on visitor/lodging forecasting. That is the only resource County has. The County does not have market data on public parks and playgrounds to share. 4/9

48	3/30/20	Federal	Manufacturing	Re: CARES Act: Contractors work flow currently has a resonable backlog. Prior to June 30th (date in the CARES Act) contrators won't likely see loss in revenue. But after June 30th contractors could see a signifcant decline. Does the loss of revenue need ot occur before June 30th? Can the terms of forgiveness consider a different window of time?	Karen Hoskin: EIDL program is more long term and a better fit as it is not just payroll like PPP. Finding the right fit for the timeline. Anyone keeping people on the payroll should tap PPP

In other words if you can only pay a full time employee 50% could another employer pick up a % of that employee. 126		State/Regional	Manufacturing	Lobby state legislators to allow the COVID 19 incident to be a claim for work stoppage insurance.	Best guidance we've received is the following now that there are no insurance directives in the CARES Act. Guidance from Pikes Peak lead disaster relief program insurance person, Pat Fitzgerald. Business insurance basically got rid of anything that protected a business when it comes to viruses or other pandemics after the SARS scare back when. Small Businesses could add this back on, but most businesses didn’t think of it and/or don’t know about it because it’s not promoted. What is happening now, is that even if a business may have it, the agent at the insurance company is saying “no we won’t cover it” and the claim is never submitted to the carrier. The small business MUST advocate for themselves and say “I want to submit a claim anyway”. When the carrier sends the declination letter, the small business should then create a letter of “why they think they should be covered” and point out the area in the insurance coverage document they think covers them. (In this case our insurance specialist has helped some of our clients with this). Then if the carrier still denies it…they have then exhausted all opportunities. If you, maybe your attorney, maybe and sbdc consultant or some professional really believes you have a case, the final step is to file a complaint with the Colorado Insurance commissioner OR through this site: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/dora/ask-question-make-complaint-division-insurance 4/16
