This is what the [Range Stat] input is used for.

Airborne Effectiveness scales the penalty that is added on top of the base cone angle. (Meaning that no, you don't actually have "perfect in-air accuracy" if you max out the AE stat.)
Because it's additive to the base cone angle, it's completely independent.

Bloom you experience from firing is another additive portion that gets piled onto the base accuracy cone. (AKA independent from AE)

Target Distance is used to calculate the size of the accuracy cone at said distance.
If you look at the functions in the Cone Radius column, you can see it's pretty much just basic trigonometry.

The Cone Radius you get is the radius of the circle that represents your cone at the target distance. Basically imagine your cone pointed at the center of the target's head and then draw a circle of that radius around that center point. Your bullet will go to a random spot inside that circle.

(Additional info: aim assist will not influence this randomness inside the accuracy cone. What aim assist does is determine where your accuracy cone will point. Aim Assist comes first, Accuracy second. Aim Assist is also referred to as "Auto Aim" because it aims your accuracy cone to the target.)

The Accuracy Cone Scalar is useful for when you want to account for perks like Opening Shot that influence the cone angle itself.
A 30% cone angle reduction is the equivalent of inputting 0.7 as the scalar.
Cone Scalars only influence the base cone angle. Leave it at 1 to ignore this step.

"Why only Hand Cannons and Snipers?"
Because those are the only two weapons we know specific values for.
Plz convince Bungo to give us more info so I can add it.

"What do these numbers actually mean?"
In a vacuum, pretty much nothing. But I also made a tool to help visualize the size of the cones based on the cone angle and the distance.

Quickstart Guide

Weapon Type:
Snipers and Hand Cannons are the only available options currently. Select either one and continue.

Range, AE, and Magnification:
Enter the stats of your weapon and the magnification value here or experiment with the numbers. Failsafes also exist in case you go out of the allowed range.

Target Distance:
How far away the target you're shooting at is. This is needed to calculate the cone radius required for the visualizer tool.

Accuracy Cone Scalar:
As the note says, please leave it set to 1 if you don't know how it works. For those wanting to experiment, go to the 'Cone Angle Scalar Calculator' sheet and that should help.

Vital Information:
Some cells have notes attached to them that provide important information for usage. These notes are indicated by a small black triangle in the top right corner of a cell. Just hover over the cell to read the note.
