6	Dear High School Skilled Trades Instructors, As the Regional Director (aka Deputy Sector Navigator) for Advanced Manufacturing in the Bay Area, one way I thought I could help out the local HS shop programs is to use some of my grant funds to ensure your equipment is maintained and repaired. My hope is that this frees up funds for you to spend on other items in your shops. I am working with a couple of vendors (Selway Tool and Performance Machine). My plan is have them come into your shop to do preventative maintenance on your machines. And if there is a repair needed, to have that done as well (up to a certain amount). PM would be lubrication, changing of filters, Right now we're focusing on: - CNC mills & lathes, and Haas Simulators (Selway Tool) - manual mills & lathes (Performance Machine) However, I'm open to maintenance on other pieces of equipment as well. Just put in the information on the tabs. If interested, please fill out one of the tabs to the right. Once I have a list of all shop's that are interested, I'll estimate the purchase order amount, contract with the vendors, and then have them contact you to schedule a time to meet.
