Unfinished Learning Outcome (at least 20%)Address unfinished learning through the implementation of evidence-based interventions and ensure that those interventions respond to students’ social, emotional, and academic needs and address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underrepresented student subgroups (each major racial and ethnic group, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, English learners, gender, migrant students, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care).xxx

Strategy #1Empowering, Adaptable Instruction: Update curriculum to enable students to experience empowering curriculum that is motivating, appropriately-challenging, and differentiated and adjustable to meet students’ strengths and needs. Providing teachers with professional development opportunities to ensure that all students at Adrian School District have an excellent academic experience.

Strategy #2Time & Attention: Adrian School District provided summer school academic and enrishment opportunites for students to engage in learning that meets their strengths and distinct needs. Summer School Program was also used to help students and staff address any unfinished learning due to the pandemic.

Strategy #3Relationships & Mental Health Support: Adrian School District will provide extra opportunities for staff and students to make meaning of their experience through creative outlets including art, drama, etc. We will either have an instructor provide time during school hours and after school hours that cultivate a positive atmosphere and provide all students with additional outlets to express their experiences.
