Missouri FBLA Community Service Awards

Missouri FBLA provides members with countless ways to get involved in community service. The Community Service Awards (CSA) was established to recognize the FBLA members who go above and beyond in their efforts in community service.  After checking the log, advisers can submit their member's Student CSA Log here. Note: Submitting a Google sheet or Excel file is preferred; a pdf will be acceptable as long as the blue cells have not been edited.

This is a Missouri only award; it does not advance to Nationals.

CSA Community—50 hours Certificate will be emailed to Adviser. Student will receive a Ribbon and on-screen recognition at the MO FBLA State Leadership Conference.

CSA Service—200 hours Certificate will be emailed to Adviser. Student will receive a Ribbon, Lapel Pin, and on-screen recognition at the MO FBLA State Leadership Conference.

CSA Achievement—500 hours Certificate will be emailed to Adviser. Student will receive a Ribbon, Lapel Pin, Medal, and On Stage Recognition at the MO FBLA State Leadership Conference.

You must submit an application for each award you intend to receive. When you reach 50 hours, submit an application to receive the Community award. Then continue adding hours to the same log, and repeat the process when you reach the next level, and so on.
If you received a recognition in a previous year, you should not submit for that level again; just pick up where you left off.

It is important to note that CSAs do not span across all of your years as a member of FBLA. However, they do span across all of your years in a specific division: awards will be for hours completed as a member of Middle School, High School, & Collegiate separately. (For example, hours completed as a Middle School Member DO NOT count towards High School CSA Awards).
The deadline to finish and submit any Level CSAs for this membership year is on March 1, 2025.

A good way to display your commitment to community service is by participating in the efforts of FBLA’s national service partner, the March of Dimes, or any service project your local chapter plans. However, while the service must have been completed during your years of FBLA membership, service projects DO NOT have to be FBLA specific, so feel free to include any community service done on your own or with another organization.

Examples of activities you may not count include: hours not actively engaged in the project/activity (such as hours spent sleeping at a camp), any activity for which you receive compensation, fundraising activities (unless it is to raise money for charity), etc. Committee decisions on activities that do not count will be final.
