Portfolio: https://writtenblade.artstation.com/
Becky was my lead at Singularity 6 and she's a good leader and teammate as well. She's super easy to collaborate with and takes a lot of initiative to find creative solutions, voice out concerns and improvements for the team constantly. She always pushed for a balanced work life which really helped the team be happy and perform well in the long run. I was impressed by how she was able to make a positive impact for the team in such a short timeline that I got to work with her. I would highly recommend Becky to any studio that's looking for a lead and just an amazing talent in general!

Wesley EldridgeSr. Technical Artisthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/wesley-p-eldridge/RemoteHenderson, NVPortfolio: WizTheRed.com
Wes is an amazing, innovative thinker, working extremely hard to push the quality of the project we worked together one. Genuinely one of the best collaborators I've worked with, and has a fantastic eye for detail and thinks in expandable systems that continually pushed the quality bar to new levels. Will wholeheartedly endorse him for unreal, blueprints, materials and shaders. A very self driven individual I had the privilege of working with.

Jeremy FenskeArt Directorhttp://linkedin.com/in/jeremy-fenske-02001216Remote, Hybrid, Onsite, Open to RelocationLos Angeles, CAPortfolio: https://www.artstation.com/jandrew
I felt absolutely grateful for Jeremy’s leadership in the art discipline. His team was consistently the most engaged and happy at the studio and the art style of Palia was easily one of my favorite aspects of the game. Do reach out to him, any team that he works with will be very lucky.

Chris MathewsSr. Environment Artist
https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-mathews-70769740/
Remote, Hybrid, OnsiteNew York City, NYPortfolio: https://www.artstation.com/garfsnacks
I was so fortunate to get to work directly with Chris on our Maps and World Systems team at Singularity 6. Chris is one of the strongest teammates I have ever worked with. I think it's important to stress "teammate" here, because any other label puts unnecessary limitations on all of the things Chris brings to the table. Sure, Chris is an exceptional artist and his amazing contributions can be seen all throughout the world of Palia. Beyond that, though, Chris would take on just about anything that we needed from him. Our bug count was getting a little high? Chris would grab a dozen of them and start knocking them down. We are having lighting issues and don't currently have anyone that specializes in lighting? Chris will step in and make improvements. We need help with level design? Chris leans in. Chris is one of the most versatile artists I have ever worked with, and any organization immediately levels up by adding him to the team.

Jacey RobinsonGame Capture Artisthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/jacey-robinson-252856a2/Remote, HybridSeattle, WAPortfolio: https://www.jaceyrobins.com/
I MEAN, you can see the amazing work that Jacey has done throughout our marketing campaigns as well as through our patch notes. The way that Jacey has showcased the love and care that the team placed into every facet of Palia is one of the reasons that people fell in love with our game. I don't think we'd have the organic growth of players that we had without the work that Jacey has done on the Capture side.

Lee ScheinbeimSr. Lighting Technical Artisthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/leescheinbeimRemote, HybridSeattle, WAPortfolio: https://lee.scheinbe.im/
Sometimes you don't realize what you are missing from a team until the perfect person arrives. That was how I felt when Lee joined our Maps and World Systems team at Singularity 6. I can't remember a time where I saw a team member ramp up so quickly and immediately start contributing value like Lee did. Lee's lighting improvements to Palia really brought out the amazing art that the team at Singularity 6 created. Lee made the natural light from the time of day much more real and brought some of our beautiful NPCs out of the shadows so they could truly shine. Lee had some really slick tricks to improve the lighting for Palia on the Switch without negatively impacting performance. He also contributed to making and improving tools for our environment artists and game engineers to take advantage of. Anyone looking for a technical artist to join their studio should look to Lee while they still have the chance!

Lulu TanakaSr. Environment Artisthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/luizatanaka/Remote, Hybrid, OnsiteLos Angeles, CAPortfolio: https://www.artstation.com/luizatanaka
Lulu's ontributions have been nothing short of outstanding. As their Producer for their whole time at Palia, I've seen firsthand how they have consistently delivered exceptional work and grown into an invaluable team member.

Lulu is always striving to learn and improve, with a clear ambition to become a lead in the future. Their commitment to their craft and their team is evident in every project they undertake.

Los Angeles, CAOlivia is the best manager I have ever had. She is kind, honest, hard-working, and truly cares about her team. She really believes in listening to those under her, incorporating their feedback, and encouraging them to grow into their own roles and strengths. While working under her, I've learned so much. She's also an extremely talented writer who knows how to break a story, and whose characters bring joy to endless players. Having Olivia has made the entire team better. I cannot wait to see what comes out of her brilliant mind next- and I really want to read whatever book she writes!!

Bay Area, CANikhil was fantastic to work with on the Housing team at S6. His designs were well thought out and well executed. Not only is he skilled, he is also a compassionate and supportive leader, and his team was a great place to be on his watch. As a junior developer, I am glad that my introduction to the industry came from such a place.

Gary PlatnerPrinciple Level Designerhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/gary-platner-625b82/Remote, Hybrid
Orange County, CA
I would need a month in order to capture all of the amazing skills that I saw Gary exhibit in the year and a half we worked together on the Maps and World Systems team. Gary's experience speaks for itself, but I consider myself lucky to have actually witnessed his level and game design skills. When I joined the team with Gary I needed him to fill in for our Product Lead that was out and he was a great partner to me during that time. Gary and I both worked together on the various temples throughout Palia, and the speed that he could crank out and iterate on white box designs was impressive. Gary is one of the easiest people to get along with, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't challenge you to get the very best out of you. He was a fantastic collaborator with our environment artists, engineers, and technical artists. If you need someone with Gary's vast skillset I would connect with him quickly before he settles on his next adventure!

https://www.linkedin.com/in/stephen-rubio-9b99289b/
RemoteLos Angeles, CAStephen was a key member of our gameplay engineering team, and we could not delivered Palia without him! He was responsible for creating a dialog system in Unreal that helped triple the amount of in-game content that we designed could provide. In addition, he was always responsive to feedback and quick to fix bugs. On top of all that, he maintained a positive and patient attitude. Anyone would be lucky to have an engineer like Rubio on their team.

Arun StorrsSr. Executive Assistant
https://www.linkedin.com/in/arun-storrs-b6556a15/
Remote, HybridLos Angeles, CAArun may not be available for the interview erc right away. But she will be fully available in July 2024 for sure.

Arun was a strong bridge between the Execs and us. After she joined S6, It was much easier to coordinate the meeting schedule with C-Suites and streamline the communication. She efficiently loops me in when the Execs have time to visit my messages, documents, and roadblocks. If it is an urgent matter from my end, after I informed her, I can trust that she will tell the Execs promptly so we won't miss the deadline.

It was my pressure to partner up with Arun. If I have a question, she will find the answer (If she needs time to figure it out, she informs me). Also, Arun is determined to deliver impact through her work. Once she says she will complete it, she will figure out the way/time to do it. Her approach is very thoughtful and caring.

Mao YanagawaManager, Talent Acquisition
https://www.linkedin.com/in/mao-yanagawa-99b53566/
RemoteLos Angeles, CAThere are not enough positives I can say about Mao. She is without a doubt the most effective recruiter I've ever worked with. She's fast, reliable, flexible, and finds incredible candidates. As if that weren't enough, she's a very quick learner who has demonstrated the ability to flex into so many roles and create so much value even beyond her direct responsibilities. She's also a pleasure to work with and without a doubt she will improve any team or company that's lucky enough to have her.

Candace Corrales
Live Ops Producer (Release Management)
https://www.linkedin.com/in/candace-corrales/RemoteLos Angeles, CACandace joined us very recently, and brought with her a hunger to get her hands dirty and make an impact from Day 1. In her regrettably short time on my team, she blew me away. Not only is she a compassionate and supportive teammate, she's not afraid to jump in and find solutions to long-standing problems. LiveOps is often a lonely place; Candace brought an effervescent positivity and camaraderie to a space that often feels isolated. In her first weeks, she produced high quality work, seeking feedback on direction before going too deep. She built momentum and scaled her work effectively as she grew to understand our specific challenges and needs. Her trajectory was stunning.

Dragon FieldSr. QA Analysthttps://www.linkedin.com/in/dragonfieldRemote, Hybrid
Orange County, CA
Dragon is an outstanding QA professional. We worked together for almost two years, and they were the QA rep on two different teams I was on at different times. They were such a game changer for the team, catching so many critical issues and transforming our QA process to better release high quality updates. Their coding experience made them able to understand our backend-heavy features well and offer particularly helpful information on what to test, and often had a correct guess as to what the cause of the issue was as well. They're someone I came to highly trust for a wide range of roles and insights, as they not only came in with a lot of skills, but were also eager to learn as well, often volunteering to take over critical aspects of lives services beyond QA. I highly recommend them for any QA role!
