Debt sheet instructions
31
List all your non-mortgage debts from smallest to largest
32
This is an optional sheet, just used to keep track of debts that you're trying to tackle.
33
34
Savings Sheet instructions
35
1. This sheet is optional but highly useful. Use to keep track of what the money in your savings account is for.
36
2. Set up the columns that you want to track in your savings account. I would suggest checking the Report - Savings tab and using those columns. Then on your paydays you can copy and paste over to the Savings sheet when you make your transfers.
37
38
Report - Savings
39
This sheet is automatically populated based on budget lines that have been flagged as savings (s) in the C/E/S/A column. You don't need to change anything
40
41
Lump Sum Payments
42
Use this to help determine monthly savings amount required for yearly/quarterly or other irregular expenses.
43
44
Suggestions:
45
1. At the beginning of each month, plan out your budget for the NEXT month by creating a new copy of the spreadsheet and adjust Budget & Income info.
46
2. Clear out the Savings sheet for the next month spreadsheet.
47
3. When starting the new month, copy the final total from last months savings spreadsheet to the beginning balance of the current savings sheet.
48
4. Everyone's situation is different. Change the spreadsheet to suit your needs!
