Foobot$199 per unitConsumerYESYESYESYESYESYES5Nate Adams, Keith O'HaraNate - A bit schizo. Keeps freaking out. The VOC/CO2/CO sensor is the same one, it uses algorithms. It keeps saying I have 2000-3000 ppm CO2. Very nice alert system, lets you easily tag pollution events, which now come several times/day... Excellent website UI (although I can't log in yet.) Easily monitor many units. They are building this for practitioners to put in client homes, not specifically for consumers. They intend to connect thermostats and other devices soon to build an ecosystem. I love their strategic thinking. Not sure about the device yet.

Awair$199 per unitConsumerYESYESYESYESYESNO5Nate AdamsNate - No lookback on data or logging. Gorgeous unit and interface. Readings seem pretty solid, except RH runs about 10% lower than actual.

Air Advice$700/year plus about $1500 for the deviceB2BYESYESYESYESYESYES5Nate Adams, DeWitt KimballNate - The cassette tape of IAQ monitors. Only uploads data with a phone line. Will upload once/day if connected, but not great for real time tracking. VOC sensor goes out of whack and needs to be replaced annually (probably a decent one.) Don't buy it until we understand more about the new consumer devices.

Netatmo$149 per unitConsumerNONOYESYESYESNO3Nate Adams, Griffin HagleGriffin - CO2 readings range 0-2500 ppm in a day sometimes. Love the hardware, UI is decent. No internal battery in indoor unit is strange. Nate - CO2 sensor is wonky. Sometimes reads 50 ppm. Sometimes reads 2000. Easy to switch between clients. Multiple monitors can be on the same account, so you can put one inside the ductwork if you want or in the attic. UI is pretty good but confusing at times.

Particles Plus 5000~ $4,000B2BYESYESYESYESYESNO4Nate Adams (demo)This product is meant for B2B. Very high end particulate meter, you can customize the particle size you are looking for. CO2, RH, and temp as well. Holds a bunch of data. 5000 unit has no battery, 7000 does. The owner, Adam Giandomenico, came from the clean room industry. This is a scaled down version. He also recently bought IAQ Media.

TZOA$200?consumerYESNOYESYESYESNO3Nate - Made to be a personal particulate monitor, battery powered and clips on to you like a CO canary. The founder gave me a ring a few months back. They have more VC money than they can spend, but I don't think they know where they are going yet.

Hobo MX1101$135 per unitconsumer/proNONOYESYESNONO2Nate AdamsNate - Just a simple data logger for temp and RH. Very small. 2 AAA batteries. Does readouts with BlueTooth to your phone. You can bury it someplace if you need to, just get within 20 feet of it and get your data.

CO Experts$99-199 per unitproNONONONONOYES1Nate AdamsNate - Their website looks like a Unabomber manifesto, but this I've been impressed with this low level CO detector. I keep it near my 1940s stove because I don't trust it fully.
