7 | Introduction | Rewatch the team 4 video and create a brainstorm of all of the things from the movie that we can write about in our recount. This will give the students a chance to watch what we are doing again and find out more information from watching it a second time around. | ||||||||||||||
8 | Teacher Instructions | Introduction: Brainstorm as a class some of the ideas that we could add into an introduction. Then give the students 3-4 minutes to write down some key words in the introduction plan. Paragraph One: What is the school theme about? What are the other teams doing? Brainstorm these ideas as a class then give students 3-4 minutes to add keywords to their own plan. Paragraph Two: What is Teams 4 topic about? What was the team 4 movie like? Brainstorm these ideas as a class then give students 3-4 minutes to add keywords to their own plan. Paragraph Three: What do you want to/ hope to learn about? Brainstorm these ideas as a class then give students 3-4 minutes to add keywords to their own plan. Conclusion: What I think about the new term theme overall. After each section give students 10 minutes to write each section: - Introduction - Paragraph One - Paragraph Two - Paragraph Three - Conclusion Note: This lesson will take more than one session. So will pick up where the students have left off at the beginning of the next lesson. Will break groups up into writing groups once they have had a chance to write in order to proof read. Have students share their writing with another person in the group to read and then give each other feedback.
