- All units EX 3, level 120 for NV, level 130 for NV+, fully awakened, with Bahamut as Esper.
- No Emperor's Signet, Hateful Agent or Kindhearted Flutist.
- Magister's Signet+ only for TDH units without innate 6x Chain Cap.
- Defaulted 300% passive killers, 150% killer buff.
- 300% LB buff and 400% stat buff in normal content, 350% LB buff and 450% stat buff in morale fights.
- 30% Weapon Imperil or innate if higher.
- DW Mod: Maked for units that attacks twice with Dual Wield instead of multicast or LB. (Ex.: Irvine, DW Dragoons)
- Equip Item materia only used if 3 or more materia slots are open or if vital for build. (Ex.: mecha users)
- 100% amp or highest AoE element amp buff for all of the character's elements, or innate if higher.
- 40% Element Amp field, or highest amp field available for that element, except for evocation damage.
- LB fields will be used instead of the amp field if the resulting damage is higher for the unit itself and any other that shares an element
- Using best LS matching effective teams, will not include LS that doesn't fit the team even if higher. (Ex.: 300% LS for DEF/SPR scaling)
- For units using Taiva's Spirit, it will be listed on the build even if the unit has Brave Shift, to identify that it is being used. The slot should be assumed as free.
- Evokers always assumes upgraded Yuna's STMR buff, doesn't count other external evoke buffs.
- Preemptive LB boost will always be considered when applicable, for SLB units it will be added to the build, but not for BS units, the same is valid for Magic Boost+.
- Consider highest damage on the first five turns, any setup that requires more than that will not be counted.
- Attempt to keep as many materia slots free while keeping the damage high.
- Characters sorted by MAX damage rather than average damage to account variannce.
- Some characters on the builder will have extra materia to complete the stats from Item World that aren't available on the builder, assume those slots as free
- Some units have Focus abilities (boost MAG for the next attack) and uses primarily multi cast, wich means only the first attack has the bonus, for those, they will have a custom Focus value to bring the results close to the actual damage
- Some unreleased units are marked with "EX", wich is a new upgrade mechanic for older units. Those gives some new abilities and up to +70 to base stats. For calculations the unit is considered fully maxed.
- Some units have GLEX upgrades, those will be considered on units that have upcoming updates, unless those overwrites the said GLEX upgrades.
- Overdrive will be counted only for units that have matching Overdrive Tag and Element Tag or Lader Skill. See Bellow for more details.
- Some builds will not have the exact correct VC, those will use placeholder cards that gives the exact same stats.
- NV+ build will be available only for checking the equipment used since the builder still don't support NV+ and lvl 130, the stats will be based on the Temp Build values.
- Will favor using STMR weapons or Weapons with unit specific bonus for the units that have those over DV weapons, unless the difference in damage is too high.

Overdrive is a new brave shift mechanic in addition to Role Shift, Trance Shift and Limit Shift, Ovedrive is based on a specific unit tag, units with Ovedrive will have a special buff skill that starts at 10 cooldown. this cooldown reduces by one by each turn taken by a unit with the matching tag to the drive ability. This counts full turns so even multi-casting will only reduce 1 cooldown. Once the cooldown ends, the character has access to a special buff that affects only units with the matching tag and stacks with normal buffs.

Units will receive a drive buff under two circumnstances:
- The unit has a matching element with the Ovedrive unit (Ex.: Star Traveller Tifa is Water, Fire, Light element and The Guardians Ovedrive, so any unit that is Guardian + Fire, Water or Light will get her Ovedrive bonus)
- There is a matching between a LS Tag and a Ovedrive Tag (Ex.: Taivas is Elite Soldier drive and has Royal Arms tag. Lasswell is a Royal Arms Leader and has Elite Soldier tag. All units that has both of those tags at the same time will also receive the Ovedrive buff).
- For Overdrive that is based on an element tag, only units that has this element tag will be considered.
