Yosef Khorramianyosefck@gmail.com(424) 283-0082CambridgeRoommate(s), Apartment8/1/26Around the 2026-27 Academic Year and beyondHi everyone, my name is Yosef Khorramian. I’m originally from Santa Monica, CA, currently living in NYC, and will be starting at Harvard Law School at the end of August. I’m looking for housing, either an existing apartment or roommates to apartment hunt with.
I’m super flexible with religious preferences either way and mainly just care that my apartment-mates are clean and respectful. I'd like to be within a 10-minute walk of the law school. Once outside that range, I’m much more flexible on location, including across the river, so long as there is parking and it's within a 15-minute drive. In-unit W/D would be a major plus.

Adam Schutzmanselfeducate@yahoo.comJamaica PlainRoommate(s)2/1/26Seeking Roommate for Feb. 1st!Hello sweet community! The Treehouse (where I live) is looking for a roommate to join our spacious, community-minded home in Jamaica Plain on Feb. 1st! We would especially love to find other sweet Jews who are into singing and occasionally hanging out and/or celebrating Jewish holidays together! Rent is $710/month plus utilities.
About us:
We are a community-minded house of queer artists/musicians and spiritually engaged folks living in Jamaica Plain. One roommate is a rabbinical student, one is an archivist at a local university, and the other is a software engineer. We are quiet, kind, and very laid back, and like to hang together on occasion. We strive for good communication, share chores and like to celebrate Jewish holidays together occasionally as well.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for someone who is kind, flexible, laid back, easy to get along with, a good communicator, responsible, down to share chores and help with the occasional house project. We also tend to be on the cautious side in regards to Covid and all of us are fully vaccinated and hope to find someone similar.
The House:
The Treehouse (as we lovingly call it) has four rooms, 1.5 baths, and 3 floors. There is a large kitchen with really huge windows, bright skylights, hardwood floors, lots of sun and plant friends and a bunch of open common space. There is also a sweet little backyard for all of your gardening, hammocking, fire pit, and outdoor eating needs.
The location in Jamaica Plain is truly amazing - we are a 3 min walk to the Arboretum, 5 min walk to Jamaica Pond, & a 7 min walk to the shops/restaurants/bars, etc on Centre Street.
The Room:
The room is on the 3rd floor and is super lovely and cozy. It is about 12’x15’, has a closet, and a window.
Accessibility notes: There are three stairs to access both the front and back doors. The bathrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and the bedroom is up 2 flights of stairs.
Please send me an email if you know anyone who might be interested! Thank you! 💖 You can see photos of the house/room here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11dAZFQmCRSy3p7j5xg2pzx4rOgxV1ccT1epO_58hajc/edit?usp=sharing

miriam gkmigleckman@gmail.comWinter Hill (SomervilleRoommate(s)4/1/26Seeking roomate for April or MayI live in a five-person home in Winter Hill and we’re looking for a new long-term housemate starting this spring (flexible move-in)!

Location & Physical Space:
The house is a 10 minute walk from Gilman Square T-stop and 20 minute walk from Sullivan. (There are also a couple of nearby busses that go to Sullivan.)

The house has five bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The available bedroom is up on the second story of our apartment, which is the third floor of the house. Laundry is free and available in the basement.

People & House Culture:
A little bit about us: Our home is based on caring for each other in the ups and downs of life—we cook for each other, play games, enjoy music, and laugh together. We’re teachers, organizers, animal lovers, crafters, and musicians in our late twenties to mid thirties. Some of us are queer, some of us are Jewish (not traditionally observant), some of us are vegetarians. We love to host Shabbat dinners about twice a month.

We function as a partial income sharing co-op. We share the costs of rent, utilities, food, toiletries, routine health care expenses, bike maintenance, gas for our shared cars, T-passes, and a few other things. Our monthly contributions are on a sliding scale between 1,100-2,000/month. You decide your contribution based on income/inherited wealth/debt and through open conversations with all of us.

*We cannot take any cats, dogs or other furry pets, but we do dog sit weekly so there are dogs around!

If you're interested, please email me directly, and include your responses to the following. We will be in touch!
1. How do you spend your time inside and outside the home?
2. What are you looking for in your next home?
If there is anything else you'd like us to know, or questions you have, feel free to include those. We look forward to talking with you!

Yours in community,
Ali, Nate, Katie & Miriam

If you like it, you could even sign for the whole year!

$1550 (some flexibility here) rent with gas included, Hechsher Kosher Kitchen, with 2 other lovely roommates (26 M and 24 F), but you would only share a bathroom with 1 other person (M).

Sophie Dulbergsophiedulberg@gmail.comJamaica PlainRoommate(s), Apartment8/1/26August/SeptHere's what I'm looking for:
A home (ideally in JP, but must be Boston) where people are proactive and directly communicative, and there is some amount of intention to invest in the collective space. I would like to continue sharing food and other house responsibilities, which is something I do in my current house. It would be ideal if housemates intend to stay in the same home together for multiple years. I feel flexible about what a home configuration could look like (eg. living in an intergenerational home, finding roommates first and then finding housing, moving into an existing set up, living with various numbers of people, etc.). My budget for monthly rent is <$1400. I am very allergic to pets so the house must be pet-free.

Here's a little bit about me:
I work as a nurse at the Boston Public Health Commission. I like to dance, practice violin, make art, hike, play frisbee, cook dinner with/for friends, and learn new things. I care deeply about living in a home where people share resources, want to make the world more liveable for everyone, and are kind to each other.

I’m looking for a lease starting in September, and ideally I don’t want to spend more than $1300/month. I’m pretty laid back and like to keep things neat, but I’m not overly strict about it. I’ll be spending a lot of time studying, but I also enjoy going out when I can and having nights in relaxing and watching TV. I’m looking for roommates I can be friends with.

Jaz Twerskyjaz.twersky@gmail.com206-743-7824CambridgeRoommate(s)9/1/26We have a lovely house between Kendall and Inman Sq - we are looking for a fifth roommate when ours moves out. We're currently an all-trans house, and our roommate doesn't HAVE to be trans, but does need to be very comfy in our queer little house. (And the "little" is literal as well as metaphorical - the ceilings are slightly low in the main room and slanted in the upstairs room we're looking to fill - it's the house's main ideosyncracy, though it is cozy.) As a household, we enjoy spending time together and hanging out, watching TV together, and often cooking for each other, and we'd love a roommate who's interested in hanging out with us! While not a strictly SS or SK house, we have some Shabbos and kashrut practices and can chat about that. Three of us are grad students (two rabbinical students, one library science student) and one of us is a vet tech, so we tend to go to bed on the earlier side and be more inclined to host Shabbos meals than big parties, though we do love to have friends over regularly! It's a four-bedroom, and two of us are a couple who share a room. There's also a friendly and cuddly cat who lives here.9/1/2026

Hi, I’m Jonathan! I’m a 26-year-old special educator at Arlington High School currently living in Somerville. I’m looking for a Sept 1st move (or earlier) to stay in Camberville, specifically near Porter or Inman Sq to balance my commute (via the 77 bus) and proximity to TBS, where I go to shul.

I’m not SS/SK, but Shabbat is central to my life and I’d love to help build a home that hosts people for dinners and gatherings. I’m looking for an ‘ingredient kosher’ vegetarian or pescetarian kitchen (no meat in the house).

My budget is around $1,200/month. I’m very open to taking the smallest room in a larger/more expensive unit to make the numbers work. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, community-oriented roommate who loves a good Shabbat meal, let’s chat!

I'd love to be close to the red line for work, but could make the green line work if needed. I am a clean and quiet roommate who likes to balance social time and alone time in the apartment. I would prefer an SK apartment but am open to considering other arrangements10/1/2026hekhsher kosher

Rebecca Whitmanrebecca.daffodil@gmail.com650-722-4906Cambridge/SomervilleRoommate(s), Apartment8/1/26looking to stay at least through the academic yearI am moving to the Boston area this summer to start at Hebrew College, and looking to live within about 30 mins walking to TBS. I am very clean and cook nightly, so looking for a roommate who is a little lighter on kitchen use. I'd love to have people over in common spaces once or twice a week for shabbat meals or board game time and build a little community within our space. Happy to join an existing apartment or find a new place with 1-2 roommates (no cats, I'm allergic). A parking spot would be dreamy, but I can contend with street parking too. 10/1/2026ingredient kosher, not kosher

Kai Tawil-Morsinkktawilmorsink@gmail.com301-767-5217Somerville (Spring Hill)Roommate(s)9/1/26Full year (until August 31, 2027)Hi, I'm Kai, pronouns he/him (I'm trans), 29 years old. I’m looking for 1 new roommate for a 2-bedroom apartment in the Spring Hill neighborhood in Somerville. I'd like to live with someone who is enthusiastic about co-stewarding our shared living space, and who is interested in a collegial yet relatively independent roommate relationship. (Think sharing kitchen equipment and splitting the cost of things like toilet paper, but having our own sides of the fridge.) If you're interested, please take a look at pictures of the apartment and tell me more about yourself using this form: https://forms.gle/EvoGa283Do2oYNETA. Then I'll be in touch with next steps. Thank you!

Meredith-Wynn Barbermwb57@georgetown.edu301-385-1385Brookline (Wash Sq, near Coolidge Corner)Roommate(s)9/1/26Move anytime!! Our lease starts Sept 1, but we have rooms available nowThe apartment: We live in a 4 bed 2 full bath apartment in a super convenient area. IN-UNIT laundry and a cute balcony looking out at the backyard. Apartment on 2nd floor with no elevators. No pets, no tobacco smokers. Cannabis is ok if smoked outside. We are right on the C line, quick walk from B and D lines. Very close to 4 grocery stores (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Star Market, and Stop & Shop) and also many other smaller grocery stores (Maruichi, H Mart, Butcherie, Lee's Market, 7 Eleven, etc.). Also by a bunch of restaurants, a movie theatre, a pottery painting place, etc. Close to many synagogues, including TBZ, Pinchas, KI, Temple Sinai, TI (Riverway), Ohabei Shalom, and more! I have lots more to say, but too much for a spreadsheet, so feel free to text or email me for more! || About us: Roommate 1/I (They/Them/Hers, trans nb) am an incoming Hebrew College student. I love hosting themed parties (nothing crazy), I like clean common areas, and sometimes I sing a lot (usually something in Yiddish or Hebrew). I would love a roommate who wants to hang out frequently-ish as schedules allow but also respects personal space and values alone time. I'm trans and seeking a trans or otherwise queer household. Roommate 2 (she/her, cis woman) is also Jewish and is a preschool teacher at a synagogue. She loves country music, and is kind and social. She loves video games, watching sports (especially hockey), and playing tennis and pickleball. She would drop literally whatever she's doing to do some living room karaoke with you. Roommate 3 (he/him, trans man) may not renew his lease, but in case he does, I'll give you a little spil. He is very kind and loves an unplanned hour-long conversation. Roommate 3 is a grad student studying social work, and he often keeps to himself in his room but is very happy to hang out if he's available.9/30/2026
