Session A201aHelp Save the Environment From HomeThe presentation will be split into three main topics: recycling, composting at home, and donating to trustworthy organizations. With this presentation, we aim to provide insight into the popular belief that saving the environment is too hard or expensive. For our first two topics, recycling and composting at home, we aim to show how these seemingly difficult acts can be done easily by anyone at home in a cost efficient manner. We strongly believe that this presentation will effectively inspire students to take action and help combat the rising environmental issues plaguing our society today. Session A202Stress Balls TMWe will be speaking about stress in school and stress management. Our focus will not be on the cliche ideas about stress such as "getting enough sleep" or "drinking water" but more practical and realistic ideas such as "how to work under stress" and "why stress actually motivates us to work". The highlight of the how-to will be making stress balls that is simple and fun - this is important as teenagers often forget to have fun and can have a short attention span. We would love to get this opportunity to share our ideas with other students.MiuMiu, Angela, & JajaBrigthon

Session A206Go Big or Go Home how to plan a large and successful charity event, with the main theme of ‘Go Big or Go Home’. We will go over the logistics of how to plan and stay organized with your team in order to create a successful event that attracts a large number of people and gets your campaign message across. We will be explaining to students how they should be creating big goals to aim for and how to reach and achieve those goals set. For example, we will use our very knowledge acquired from the very successful ISB UNHCR 2 Billion Kilometres to Safety event that raised 85,399 baht and involved an overwhelming majority of our school community to support our cause. This session brings to light the strengths and weaknesses throughout the entire process of planning and executing, in hopes to inspire students to plan big and go big.Pleng & Pinkie ISB

Session A306Starting Student Led Projects and Empowerment Groups My name is Emma and I have an organization called SEEN (Students Empowerment and Equality Network). This How To Session is an introduction to starting student led projects and student empowerment groups in the school environment. Though SEEN is a predominantly an LGBTQ+ focused organization, the How To Session aims explore other general starting points and tips so students can take away whatever information they may need to start their own group. Things like formation of the group, leadership, in school involvement, how to reach out for support from other group or organizations and so on.EmmaSTA107

Session A404ESP How To Lead a ClubOur How-To session aims to inspire individuals through enriching service opportunities. We aim to provide students with an insight on how to start their very own English Service Project. At ESP (English Service Project), we teach English to the native support staff at school. These service opportunities strengthen bonds within the school community by breaking down language barriers between students and staff. Within this session, fellow students will learn everything from establishing the club to basic club management. Apart from learning about the challenges imposed along the way, students will also grasp the importance and the impact of teaching English to non-native speakers. Ultimately, empowering communities through the extension of ESP to other schools. *Please note that this is a workshop that I will be presenting alongside Lanlana SuparangseeFay and WellISB

Session A406Issues, Compromises, and ExpectationsTo session will walk through the steps that I took to arrive at a simple, effective solution to a seemingly daunting issue. This session will also include my insights on the expectations we have with ourselves regarding any initiatives we take to solve issues. High expectations are common among us, and such expectations often lead to a desire for extravagance in designing projects. I, too, once valued uniqueness over effectiveness, and I will share about how I overcame my own expectations. In short, this session will walk you through my Capstone process on a personal level, describing my shift of focus from myself to the community that I serve, eventually arriving at a product that satisfied both my community and me.EricICS

Session B202Plastic RevolutionThis session will cover how to both start as well as maintain a service-oriented club. We will cover several topics, including how to establish the basis of the club, communication between the members of the club, as well as what we, as members of a service-oriented club, have done in starting one at our school. We hope that after this session, you'll have the understanding as well as the desire to start a service-oriented club at your school or in your community.Arnav, Hutson, Ploeny, & TrakICS

Session B205Mental Health Awareness"Mental Health Awareness" or "The MHA" is a club focused on being an accurate source of information in school on mental health. We have noticed that many students, not only in our school, have inaccurate knowledge on this topic and tend to believe rumors/myths over facts. We strive to create a safe environment in and out of school where people are educated on this topic and know how strong their words can be. In servICE, we plan to educate people who pass by and hopefully spread this club to other schools in order to make this a stronger movement in the future.Ayaka K, Bijl, & Kashvi ChauhanISB

Session B206Effective Altruism ApproachThe needs analysis ideology is now world-famous among international schools and it was started in my school, NIST. There are very detailed steps in the updated framework which give students the chance to actually contribute meaningfully to their local community. This is essentially made for development projects. If a group of students have. chosen a location to go and support, it is very ineffective if they try and support that community in a way by which the students deem necessary. The key to the needs analysis is just to go and look at the community that they aim to support and ask the locals about their struggles. If we want to help someone, we must help them in the way they will receive it the best. This is a very practical and pragmatic way to look at service and will ensure good results for the students who are willing to engage in it. The workshop is meant to teach students, how they can help people in the most helpful and effective way and how to start their own development projects. It will take them through this framework step by step in the hope that all schools will implement this ideology just like NIST and spread their good actions everywhere.IshaNIST

Session B306Friendly Life HacksOur idea is to group up a few people together and provide them with many different materials that can be put together to create several environmentally friendly life hacks. It will be a sort of competition where whichever group can come up with the most life hacks with the material provided will win. After this, we will let them know other ways it may be used as life hacks. Before this activity, we will have a small 5 minute presentation about ways to be eco-friendly at home and then we will transition into the activityRiddhi & GiaWells
