I have many day sails logged and have spent over a dozen nights onboard in the Puget Sound area.
This past August I completed a 10 day passage from Lisbon, Portugal to Palma, Spain with 2 owners and 3 other crew I hadn’t met before. They were strangers for about 5 minutes! I also will be completing a 10 day passage in July from Bellingham to Port Hardy. I own my own Caliber 28 Sailboat and am familiar and capable with minor maintenance needs. I have been told I have “great situational awareness” and that I am a “hard working and analytic sailor”.
I am easy going, a fast learner can take direction, calm under pressure and can get along with almost anyone!

I lived on a 26' sailboat in San Diego for 2 years after cruising for 2 months solo through the Puget Sound and Desolation Sound. My other experience is mostly day sailing with a couple week long trips in the San Juan Islands. I have taken the ASA 101 and a Safety at Sea classes. I am also a handyman that fixes everything that breaks on my boats myself. I live in Port Townsend and can help with boat preparations as well. Coming from a background of whitewater rafting and week long wilderness floats, I know how important crew dynamics are.
