PSAPhilippine Statistics AuthorityRice and Corn Stocks Survey: CommercialThe information on Philippine rice and corn stocks inventory are sourced out from the data gathered from the households, commercial and government sectors. The household stocks inventory is estimated through the Rice and Corn Stocks Survey: Household (RCSS:H) and the commercial stocks inventory is taken from the RCSS:C of the PSA. On the other hand, the government stocks inventory is taken from the NFA warehouses/depositories. The PSA consolidates the stocks inventories from the three sectors and disseminates it monthly through its publication of Special Release on Rice and Corn Stocks Inventory. These information are inputs to planners and policy makers in formulating programs and policies on food security. This also serve as inputs to the estimation and compilation of the national accounts.

The objective of the survey is to generate rice and corn stocks inventory held by the commercial sector.

PSAPhilippine Statistics AuthorityAverage Capacity Utilization RateThe Monthly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (MISSI) is one of the designated statistical activities undertaken by the Philippine Statistics Authority with the objective of providing flash indicators on the performance of growth-oriented industries in the manufacturing sector. The survey gathers monthly data on employment, compensation, production, net sales, inventories, and capacity utilization from manufacturing establishments.
The indicators generated from the MISSI are Value of Production Index (VaPI), Volume of Production Index (VoPI), Value of Net Sales Index (VaNSI), Volume of Net Sales Index (VoNSI), and Average Capacity Utilization Rate of the manufacturing sector.
