-Enter your verifiers in the Verifier tab — the verifiers you enter will be available for you to choose from as a drop-down list when you enter your ABS entries

-You can find tips on how to fill out each entry by hovering over the headings

-Work from left to right — start by entering the # of the activity, then start date, end date etc.

-There's a character limit on each field so you'll be automatically alerted by if you go over!

-To make the most of this ABS sheet, share it with peers and mentors to get feedback on your entries. Encourage people to add comments and/or make suggestions!

1Before writing out your entries, think about what 18 activities you want to highlight to Ottawa. As you can only select 3 per category, you can classify your activities as "Extracurricular" and "Volunteer" interchangeably, in order to include as many as possible for Ottawa. For example if you have 4 extremely valuable "Extracurricular activities" consider switching one to "Volunteer activities" so you have 3 in each category. The same principle can be applied for Volunteer Activities that can also be classified as Research (e.g. Volunteer Research Assistant)

2Try not to put too many items under "Other" — unless they really don't fit in the other categories. Activities that you've partaken in consistently and over a long period of time, for e.g. teaching yourself a language, can often be labelled as "Extracurricular" (as an Individual activity)
