I am relocating to Boise in the next couple of months and have been searching for a position that utilizes my accounting and finance background along with the data manipulation and analysis skills I have acquired as a data analytics consultant.Bachelor's degreeIndiana University Kelley School of BusinessBusiness--Accounting and Finance3.4FTI ConsultingSenior ConsultantAs a consultant, my job duties are constantly changing. I have provided SEC compliance support and litigation support services to clients involved in investigations, financial restatements, multi-million dollar product liability disputes, and multi-billion dollar securities fraud litigation. During my time at FTI I have worked with complex data analysis, SEC/FASB compliance and reporting support, as well as team leadership for various engagements.

Over the first year and a half with my company I was focused on SEC and FASB reporting compliance throughout two major SEC-mandated financial restatements. Serving as compliance and reporting specialist for the restating companies, I developed automated processes in SQL Server for generating currency translation adjustments and revaluation adjustments across hundreds of foreign currency adjusting journal entries. I also designed a fully integrated database and reporting system to be used during the restatement by which all adjusting entries, housed in a SQL Server database, could be pushed in real-time to corresponding financial statements.

Following my experience with restatements, during a multi-billion dollar investment fund fraud investigation, I was able to lead a cross-functional team which was responsible for analyzing and reporting billions of dollars in securities and cash transactions spanning over 30 years. Over the course of the engagement I was given the opportunity to develop data analysis and modeling tools, data search and reporting tools, and complex automation algorithms which were crucial to the SEC investigation, in addition to investor claims resolutions and prosecution support.
