built bus shelters at Nett Church in 2025; have been pushing Lidl to develop @ 4990 (we worked with residents in 2021 re: variances); it's not in their 2025 plans, but they still plan to develop it, so pushing for 2026; got significant amounts of $ of federal, state, and local funds for redoing JCB from Rockbridge to Exit 99; worked on signal timing at Singleton & JCB; have been trying to address trash issue particularly going to various apartment complexes (see Elevate, Forest Vale, etc. below); stopped gas station rezoning @ 5660 JCB

have requested speed measures from Gwinnett DOT to deal with speeding; they have put into SPLOST requests, as the scope is bigger than/outside a normal project; corresponding with GCPS to urge them to do ground lease for nonprofits on undeveloped property; led petition against Parkland (and represented 6 neighbors dragged to testify/produce docs in Parkland's lawsuit against county); EPA grant (got terminated, but still); pushing back against UDO changes to make it easier; put mural at Lucky Shoals Park

Improved lights (trying to do more - new service request Oct. 7, 2025, being evaluated with a bigger project); worked with county to get all LED/more coverage; worked with county to get federal USDOT Smart grant which will result in things like beacons for road safety; have offered lights (through nonprofit) to all businesses and apartments in area (though none have taken it); Yellow painted cornice on S Norcross Tucker Road removed at shopping mart adjacent to Nam Dae Mun; both against code AND attracting ICE

exploring/requesting roundabout with county or other measures to address Williams donuts/speeding esp. near Wylmoor (we got on news: https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/gwinnett-county/gwinnett-neighbors-push-roundabout-stop-dangerous-intersection-burnouts/IHBCCI4G5NF4ZGCFNCKXZOTWWU/); in 2023-24, worked with county to request sidewalks, but county has not yet funded; advocating also for radar signs, stoplights, and other speeding measures also on Williams b/ween JCB & Rockbridge; UPDATE: we got new signage (inc. blinking lights) at Williams near Tug - still asking for more
