Yes, In a human rights-based approach, human rights determine the relationship between individuals and groups with valid claims (rights-holders) and State and non-State actors with obligations (duty-bearers). Sankalpa identifies rights-holders (and their entitlements) and corresponding duty-bearers (and their obligations) and works towards strengthening the capacities of rights-holders to make their claims, and of duty-bearers to meet their obligations.
Yes, Sankalpa’s Right Base Approach (RBA) is grounded in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and our policy and strategy distinguish 5 fundamental rights:
1. Right to a sustainable livelihood. People have the right to access indispensable resources like land and water. Unfair trade rules must be abolished.
2. Right to basic social services. Everybody has the right to quality education and healthcare.
3. Right to life and security. People hit by natural disasters, climate change or conflicts have a right to assistance. The arms trade must be controlled.
4. Right to social and political participation. People must know their rights and be able to voice their opinion. Everyone has the right to participate actively in the decisions that affect them, in order to achieve a more just world.
5. Right to an identity. Nobody should be excluded on the basis of her or his identity. Women, indigenous people, gay men and lesbians, and the disabled have the same rights as anybody else. Sankalpa Expertise in low and policy Preparation and Implementation Process:
Yes, A Campaign provides a framework in which the processes of advocacy can be easily developed and enclosed. A campaign can include the activities done by individuals or organization such as Awareness Raising Campaigns, Research, Training, Lobbying, etc.Raising Awareness can be seen as the first step of Advocacy which intends to make the problems addressed known by the general public. Public Talks, conferences, seminars, street performances, broadcasting of outreach materials, videos, and social media advocacy are some of the ways to implement the campaigns.‘Lobbying meeting and lobby Visit‘is a form of advocacy with the intention of influencing decisions made by the government by individuals or more usually by lobby groups; it includes all attempts to influence legislators and officials, whether by other legislators, constituents, or organized groups.
Yes
• Express their views and concerns
• Access information and services
• Defend and promote their rights and responsibilities
•Explore choices and options. As the largest CSO organizations in the country, sankalpa uses its network inside the country, to drive changes in practice and policy at local and national levels to advance food, life rights and issues.
Yes International law often presents shortcomings, and its enforcement even more. The law can also be discriminatory in itself. In all its action Sankalpa’s ultimate goal is to enable people to exercise their rights as enshrined in international human rights instruments and (inter)national law. Aside from supporting change in legislation and the strengthening of legal institutions, Sankaklpa also believes that the capacity of people to seek and find with formal or informal legal institutions solutions for individual or collective problems, according to human rights standards - access to justice - is essential for legal & rights empowerment.

Rural Area and Himalayan area, Sudur Paschim Province is one of the poorest areas in Nepal. About a quarter of the population lives below the poverty line. The vast majority of people earn their livelihood through agriculture. Many people from the Nepalese countryside move abroad for work, especially to India. This has resulted in a host of problems, including Human right, Education and human trafficking, promoting and protecting human rights through the international / National rule of law wash, irrigation and community mobilizations.

Sub-regional group has been a critical space for North East Asian countries's CSOs to get together and collaborate across fields partaining to the SDGs and climate change. With great achievements made by the Korean SDGs Network as a coordinator organisation, NGOs in this sub-region have been able to work together thus far. To ensure the smooth transition, Japanese NGOs would like to take the lead to support the coordination. In this respect, the candidate, Hirotaka Koike, will work with all NGOs in the sub-regional groups to ensure this smooth and effective communication will remain and get improved.

As he has been a global coordinator for several UN processes and engaged in various multi-stakeholder mechanisms, he would be able to deliver the necessary coordination.

It has served as the focal organization of the South and Southwest Asia sub-region of AP-RCEM. Similarly, he has experience of serving in the secretariat function of SDGs National Network Nepal for more than three years. Further, it has a good experience of organizing South Asia Peoples Forum and Nepal Peoples Forum annually since 2019. NACASUD Nepal is legally registered under Nepal Government as a national NGO according to the Association Registration Act. It is eligible to work at local, national, sub-regional, regional and global level as per necessary interest and to fulfill its organizational vision, mission, goals and objectives. All the board members are Nepalese citizens (Asians) and its office is located in Dhulikhel Municipality of Nepal. Please find the link of the approved constitution (Nepali and English language) that give mandate to the organization : https://nacasud.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Bidhan-NACASUD.pdf. and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dts2xnPevn4c0QHKAb4UD--HX93Jxhih/view?usp=sharing
NACASUD Nepal is based in Nepal, and it has been able to maintain warm relations with CSOs and their networks in the South and South-west Asia Sub-Region. It has been serving as the sub-regional focal point organization at AP-RCEM. It is annually hosting the South Asia Peoples Forum since 2019 and further it has been organizing various virtual events on the contemporary and newly emerging issues such as Afghanistan crisis, COVID 19 crisis, CSOs issues etc. NACASUD Nepal in partnership with Roots of Equity and PAIRAVI India produced "Tackling Challenges to Achieve SDGs in South Asia'' in 2019 (https://nacasud.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/SouthAsiaSDG-Book-Revised-final.pdf) that reviewed the progress of the SDGs in South Asia and South Asian countries. Further, it has been continuously involved in information flow among the CSOs in the sub-region. Organizing South Asia level sharing programmes on the VNRs of the countries seems remarkable. Further, it has been facilitating the participation of CSOs in the South Asia Forum on the SDGs being organized by the UN-ESCAP sub-regional office. NACASUD Nepal is keeping functional relations with UN-ESCAP Sub-Regional based in India. Moreover, this organization has been actively participating in sub-regional events being organized by the Government and other organizations, such as South Asia Alliance for Poverty Eradication (SAAPE), South Asia Watch on Trade, Economics and Environment (SAWTEE) etc. It is also a part of People's SAARC, which is the loose platform of CSOs in South Asia.
NACASUD Nepal is very much interested in coordinating the CSOs in the South and South-West Asia Sub-Region and even in the whole Asia Pacific region. It aims to engage with the Governments, major groups and other stakeholders to realize the principle of Leaving No One Behind. Its working approach is to interface between policy level and grassroots communities. Further, it is working on policy and programmatic issues related to highly marginalized and excluded people. It has been the part of Nepal SDGs National Network Nepal, which is the common platform of civil society major groups and stakeholders in Nepal. NACASUD Nepal has highly experienced personalities working in the sector of sustainable development and governance. They have deep knowledge about the issues and challenges of South Asia related with peace, democracy, governance and sustainable development. Importantly, NACASUD Nepal is fully updated about the situation of this sub-region. The Executive Director himself is now serving as South and South-West Asia Focal Person of AP-RCEM. Executive board members have experiences of attending a number of international programmes and they are familiar with UN processes. NACASUD Nepal has been working as the main organizer of the South Asia Peoples Forum annually and also supporting the Joint CSOs Statement of South Asia. So, NACASUD Nepal has adequate capacity to hold the meetings, facilitate the process and to reach a common decision.
As mentioned earlier NACASUD Nepal has full capacity to carry on the responsibilities of sub-regional focal points. The Executive Director has already served in that position. He has experience of coordinating and facilitating CSOs in the SDG process and continued to support AP-RCEM particularly for the South and South-West Asia Sub-Region. He has sufficient experience of participating in UN programmes such as the Sub-Regional Forum (South Asia Forum on the SDGs), Asia-Pacific Forum of Sustainable Development (APFSD), High Level Political Forum (HLPF), Regional Knowledge Exchange Programme etc. Organization is very much familiar with development issues and challenges of this sub-region and familiar with the key responsibilities to be performed including communication and coordination among the constituency members of the sub-region and stakeholders including Government and UN agencies. Since the Secretariat Office of SAARC is located in Kathmandu, organizations can take advantage to ease access to that office and initiate functional engagement.
NACASUD-Nepal has its own office which is equipped with qualified human resources, basic equipment and physical facilities. It has the capacity to mobilize resources such as raising funds and mobilize human resources as per needs. NACASUD Nepal assures that it can fully contribute to the policy process for two years. NACASUD Nepal can also assign a dedicated staff to assist day to day function and communication of AP-RCEM as per requirements and demands. Of course, it has already been doing these functions associated with the AP-RCEM.
NACASUD-Nepal has its own office in Dhulikhel Municipality-7 of Kavre district Bagmati Province. This office is responsible for managing day-to-day works of the organization. Mr. Daya Sagar Shrestha is now serving as Executive Director; who also has good knowledge and experiences on the 2030 Agenda. This organization is legally registered and it has its own constitution and regulations to operate the organization. Please receive the link (https://nacasud.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Bidhan-NACASUD.pdf and https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dts2xnPevn4c0QHKAb4UD--HX93Jxhih/view?usp=sharing) of statute that adequately guides the operational procedures of the organization. Also, it has Human Resource Management regulation (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-Rdfy32SeE7mpJVyMDWdxKOcDqsMXX7S/view?usp=sharing) and Financial Management regulation (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ED8nIok6guOrMUkT-MfS--bB5Y1BORkv/view?usp=sharing) to operate the organization transparently.
NACASU-Nepal is an autonomous, non-profit making, voluntary, and legally registered organization. It has already received a tax-exempt certificate from the authority of Nepal Government. Please receive the links of certificate of registration (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wsnG7XGv23y0b8uMax7em_62kbCHXrtn/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=110379566381662828844&rtpof=true&sd=true and https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B_SZGDK61wGSgFH8KjZ64aXk2kpNJPFW/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=110379566381662828844&rtpof=true&sd=true) and tax-exemption certificate (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KGzD8qAIy8v4m9wUoWwGVL2xJfHYNPXy/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=110379566381662828844&rtpof=true&sd=true).
Call for nomination for AP-RCEM is very appealing for NACASUD Nepal. It is very eager to serve the AP-RCEM and it wants to contribute to an inclusive, just and sustainable development agenda in the region. NACASUD Nepal will be very proud to be a part of the AP-RCEM and it wants to contribute in achieving its objectives. Also, it is sure it will be able to gain plenty of experiences and enrich the empirical knowledge and advocacy skills if the organization could get an opportunity to be in the Regional Coordination Committee of the region. Since this organization is founded at the local level, it has sufficient organizational knowledge and experiences of sustainable development practices and policies issues. They could be useful at sub-regional and regional level. NACASUD Nepal believes exchange of experiences and knowledge could add value to equitable, inclusive and just development, which could contribute to building resilient societies in this region. The nominated persons of this organization have deep knowledge on mobilization and advocacy, they have contributed to form a common national platform and engaged with Government, UN agencies, International Development Banks, local government and private sector. Nominated persons are rich in knowledge of issues of South Asia and working on advocacy, networking and mobilization. Also, they have experiences of contribution in the process of coordination and monitoring progress of SDGs in the sub-region on behalf of CSOs. Capacity development of CSOs could be another area this organization can contribute. This knowledge can be transferred to other South Asia countries. They could help to increase the capacities of CSOs of this region and sub-region.
We, the nominated organisation, agree to this nomination as focal points of APRCEM period 2022-2025

Reality of Aid Network's Asia Pacific hub (RoA-AP) is a regional network of CSOs that aims to transform aid relationships by ensuring democratic ownership, accountability, and development results for the poor and marginalized so that developing countries will be able to reduce aid dependency.

RoA-AP engages in policy spaces to influence development actors, publishes research and monitoring reports on aid and development cooperation, and organizes annual meetings and workshops for the capacity development of its members.

RoA-AP also facilitates regional platforms such as the Asia constituency of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) and the Peace & Security Thematic Working Group of the OECD-DAC CSO Reference Group.
Yes
RoA-AP is a network of over 80 CSOs from Asia Pacific. The members are national, sub-regional and sectoral CSOs that pursue people-centered, rights-based development in their own contexts. The members also engage in key global, regional, sub-regional, national and sectoral policy arenas on development cooperation, representing their own organization and the network. RoA-AP’s members are also active in other CSO platforms, such as the APRCEM, not just in the NGO constituency, but also in other constituencies and sub-regions.
As a network, Reality of Aid - Asia Pacific is well-versed in coordinating and consolidating its own and other platforms’ membership. In order to activate the membership, RoA-AP schedules regular meetings with its leadership, as well as consultations, regional meetings and capacity development workshops with its members. The network keeps in-touch with its membership through bi-monthly newsletters, social media updates and bilateral communication with members. Support to members is provided to the best of the network’s ability.

In working with other CSO platforms, RoA-AP serves as the lead of the DAC-CSO Reference Group’s Peace and Security Thematic Working Group (P&S TWG) and as the Secretariat of the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness Asia constituency (CPDE Asia). For the P&S TWG, RoA-AP collaborates with humanitarian, development and peace organizations working globally, and primarily engages with the OECD-DAC’s subsidiary network, International Network on Conflict and Fragility (INCAF). For CPDE Asia, members are mobilized to participate in national, sub-regional, regional and sectoral GPEDC and UN-led processes, in order to forward the implementation of the development effectiveness principles. The CPDE Asia membership is consolidated through meetings, consultations, and workshops.
Jahangir Hasan Masum jhmasum@gmail.comSarah Torresstorres@realityofaid.org
The regional network represents over 80 civil society organizations from the Asia Pacific region, led by a Steering Committee composed of 6 member representatives from each sub-region (South Asia, Central Asia, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Middle East & North Africa, and Pacific). The Chairperson role is rotated among the sub-regions. Currently, Jahangir Hasan Masum is the Chairperson and the South Asian representative.

RoA-AP is involved in various issues of aid and development cooperation, and engages in a variety of key policy arenas to pursue people-centered and rights-based development. The network, through its members, has been engaging with the OECD-DAC, UN bodies, GPEDC, ADB, and AIIB. As the CPDE Asia Secretariat, it sits as the sole CSO Steering Committee Member of the UNDP-Asia Pacific SDG Financing Facility (UNDP-APFIN). RoA-AP has also been active in the activities of the APRCEM, as it continues to participate in the APFSD, APPFSD, and sub-regional multi-stakeholder forum.

To elaborate on RoA-AP’s internal governance structure and its work in the region, please refer to RoA-AP’s Partnership Document 2020-2022, (https://realityofaid.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/RoA-AP-Partnership-Document-2020-2022-revised-spread.pdf) and our website (http://www.realityofaid.org/).
The Reality of Aid Network has been mobilizing CSOs on issues regarding aid and development cooperation for 30 years. As the regional arm in Asia Pacific, RoA-AP unites national, sub-regional and sectoral organizations to maximize engagement on aid and development cooperation issues.

Our host organization, IBON International, and our partner, the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness, are also members of the NGO constituency. Several of our members, such as the Center for Sustainable Rural Development, Japan NGO for International Cooperation, Management and Sustainable Development Institute, Nash Vek, NGO Federation of Nepal, NGO Forum of Cambodia, Third World Network, and the Voluntary Action Network, are members of the constituency. Nash Vek also serves as our Central Asia representative for RoA-AP’s Steering Committee. Moreover, we have worked and collaborated with the other CSOs in the constituency, even though they are not part of our membership. As RoA-AP hopes to become a focal point for the constituency, we aim to forge partnerships and collaborate with other APRCEM members.
As the organization manages the membership of over 80 CSOs, we ensure that the priorities and interests of our members are taken into consideration when we strategize our objectives and plans. Decision-making processes are conducted with the network’s leadership and membership, through our regular and annual governance and regional meetings. Along with our members, we look for areas of synergy and collaboration that we can pursue together.

Moreover, we mobilize our members to participate in key policy arenas as they elevate their national, sub-regional and sectoral concerns to the regional level. Knowledge products and statements are collaborated on with the members and are informed by realities on-ground.
RoA-AP nominates Jahangir Hasan Masum, the network’s Chairperson, as the next main focal point for the NGO constituency.

Mr. Masum leads the membership in pursuing policy and advocacy work in key policy arenas in the global and regional levels. He has years of experience in rallying the membership in forwarding CSO recommendations related to aid and development cooperation issues. Mr. Masum also advises the network on how to find new sources of funding, and how to utilize these to support the members.

Mr. Masum has also been heavily involved in activities of the UNESCAP, such as the APFSD and APPFSD, through the APRCEM. He has been involved in several initiatives of the platform, like producing factsheets for policy engagement, providing interventions and speeches in webinars, and representing APRCEM in select UN policy spaces.

Sarah Torres, the RoA-AP Coordinator, is nominated as the alternate focal point. She leads the Secretariat’s day-to-day operations, including consolidating the membership, handling communications and managing the finances of the network. She is able to coordinate a network of over 80 CSOs in the region, engaging them on matters of policy and advocacy, monitoring and analysis, and capacity development.
If the network’s nominee is elected, RoA-AP’s Policy Officer will dedicate time to attend to APRCEM concerns and provide the necessary assistance to the focal point in carrying out the platform’s work. Moreover, the Steering Committee and other Secretariat members will provide support to the focal point in ensuring that his work is conducted efficiently. For instance, the Steering Committee will facilitate the consolidation of the membership at the sub-regional level to further promote APRCEM activities.
The network’s headquarters is located in the Philippines, at 114 Timog Avenue, Brgy. Sacred Heart, Quezon City 1103.

The RoA-AP Secretariat is led by Sarah Torres as the Coordinator. The network’s constitution and by-laws were written and adopted by its Board of Trustees in May 2012. The organization’s constitution and by-laws can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17NlEH3MdnPeLIuauOZfdVYiIOWSI0urg/view?usp=sharing
RoA-AP has been duly registered under the Philippines’ Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in October 2012. The organization’s registration document can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17NlEH3MdnPeLIuauOZfdVYiIOWSI0urg/view?usp=sharing.
The Reality of Aid-Asia Pacific, as the regional arm of the Reality of Aid Network, has been active in consolidating CSOs in the region to contribute to the promotion of pro-poor and rights-based approach to development cooperation.

As the work of RoA-AP encompasses various issues on the network’s thematic areas of aid, International Finance Institutions (IFIs), development effectiveness, human rights, democracy, peace and security, conflict and fragility, and climate, we hope to further contribute to the issues of sustainable development in the region.

The network does data monitoring and analysis through its CSO Aid Observatorio (https://realityofaid.org/cso-aid-observatorio/), a CSO-initiated and maintained database of development projects funded through the Official Development Assistance (ODA) or funded by International Finance Institutions (IFIs). The impacts of the projects are evaluated in terms of human rights, the Development Effectiveness principles, and the Sustainable Development Goals. The reports, narratives and research produced from this platform can be used to support APRCEM’s work and positioning. Furthermore, as the network engages in various global and regional policy spaces, we will be able to forward the calls of APRCEM in these spaces and discussions.

If RoA-AP will be elected as the focal point for the NGO constituency, we will collaborate with other organizations within the platform to ensure that the work of APRCEM is sustained and elevated, and that our initiatives are streamlined and maximized.
We, the nominated organisation, agree to this nomination as focal points of APRCEM period 2022-2025

Pacific Disability Forum is an organization of persons with disabilities (OPDs) in the Pacific. As the current Focal Point, we have been using regional forums for networking and advocacy, sharing national-level experiences, and conducting bilateral meetings with governments. Often DPOs at the regional level can contribute to the regional SDG and disability plans and raise awareness on issues related to persons with disabilities. This, in turn, can create change at the national level.

We strongly believe we can be part of the APRCEM RCC so we can continue to raise awareness, to amplify advocacy efforts towards CRPD compliant SDG implementation, participate in regional UN and other processes and opportunities and to build our community and raise awareness. We hope to bring strong messages to the next regional Forum on Sustainable Development held by UN ESCAP as well as to create and build partnerships to further the implementation of the SDGs for persons with disabilities with Member States and other actors in the region.

- Advocacy interventions on the policy level, such as Universal Periodic review, position papers and statement and supporting the UN Independent Expert on SOGIE
- Leadership development and training: Focused on utilising approach that allows reflection and intergenerational learning to decrease activist burnout and retain our history and knowledge in advocating for change. Such as the Amplifying Trans Fellowship program

APTN has a secretariat office based in Bangkok, Thailand. The APTN Secretariat, comprising Programmes, Human Rights and Advocacy, Communications, and Finance teams, carries out the administrative and programme implementation of APTN. The responsibilities of the secretariat include programme development, implementation and monitoring, liaison with community members, partners and other stakeholders to build and foster partnerships, conference and workshop planning, publications, partner relationships and international relations, and facilitating collaboration between regional partners and international stakeholders. Currently, we have most of the team members coming from the countries in Asia including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, and India.

We also have the Regional Steering Committee which provides strategic supervision to the APTN secretariat. The Committee is the body that establishes and oversees the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of APTN, ensuring that its activities and finances are managed in a responsible manner and in accordance with its strategic plan. The Steering Committee members are representatives from the countries that APTN works in and provide important partnerships and insight into the particular country’s trans and gender diverse communities. Every 3 years, there is the call for nomination of the new committee members announced and the selection conducted by ongoing committee members.. Currently, our Regional Steering Committee consists of trans women and trans men from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and New Zealand.
APTN has in-country partners that are trans-led and trans-inclusive groups and organisations based in 26 countries across Asia and the Pacific. We are currently working with almost 30 trans-led, trans-inclusive organisations within Asia and the Pacific countries.
To develop our current strategic plan which is the document that has guided our works at APTN, we held 3 days of strategic planning the meeting with representatives of trans-led organisations groups from 21 countries across Asia and the Pacific. The output from the trans representatives at the consultation informed the drafting and developing of the strategic plan by the APTN Regional Steering Committee, Thai Foundation Board, and Secretariat.

We also have the experience of organising and facilitating several regional consultations on health as human rights. For example, From Barriers to Bridges consultation was held in September 2017 for discussion trans’ sexual and reproductive health and rights. Over 150 participants from 17 countries engaged at the consultations including trans activists, health care professionals, government representatives, and representatives from international organisations.
If elected as the focal point of LGBTI constituency, APTN will be able to allocate our advocacy team comprising with 2 members as the contact persons for fulfilling the responsibilities and task as constituency. The list of the contact persons is provided below.

Madhura Chakraborty, Human Righst and Advocacy Manager
Nhuun Wannapong Yodmuang, Senior Human Rights and Advocacy Officer
As mentioned above, APTN’s advocacy team will be dedicated to work as the focal point of LGBTI constituency. Moreover, the team is in charge of a strategic pillar in APTN’s strategic plan which is ‘National, Regional, & International Advocacy’. Therefore, being the focal point of APRCEM fits with our interest and complement the strategic plan.

In the regional advocacy mechanism and spaces, trans and gender diverse people are underrepresented and marginalised, and our voice, concerns, and demand are not enough heard by duty bearers while there are increased gender based discrimination, violence against trans people on daily basis. Being a part of the regional coordinating committee of APRCEM will be a good opportunity for APTN to mobilise our communities and raise our concerns related to human rights and justice for trans people in this region as well as come up with solutions addressing the contentious situation at the local level and grassroots communities.

Meanwhile, APTN along with our partners from 26 countries in the regions, that are trans-led organisations and groups in the regions, can provide intersectional aspects to the advocacy of APRCEM. On the other hand, learning from other constituencies and solidarity across the thematic and sub-regional groups will be beneficial in the development of our advocacy works to be more intersectional and stronger in local, regional, and international spaces.

On top of that, we also have experience in coordinating CSOs, as we have already coordinated similar organizations and set up offices in Japan and abroad.
Our organization believes that this criterion is met as we are a constituency-based organization with most of our members representing their constituencies and we are active in the Asia Pacific region. At this time, our organization confirms that many of our members are based in Japan and China, Korea, and the Solomon Islands, and that our organization represents the constituencies we have designated.
Our organization is qualified to conduct coordination with CSOs throughout the Asia-Pacific region, and to participate in online education programs and international conferences to present the results of our education in order to make collective decision-making processes more efficient and to raise the concerns and issues of our constituents to the regional level. In addition, our team has sufficient knowledge and experience in writing reports, developing activities, and providing specific opinions on technology, and we have been prepared to provide specific, science-based opinions at the Asia-Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development as well as at this conference. We are ready to present his opinions based on scientific evidence at the Asia Pacific Forum for Sustainable Development.
Our organization already has two liaison officers (one main and one deputy) ready to coordinate our constituents, and we have the experience and knowledge from previous international conferences and networks around the world to implement our capacity and commitment to carry out our responsibilities and tasks as a focal point for the constituency and subregion.
As long as the delegates belong to the organization that there are sufficient human resources available to engage in the policy process for at least two years, it can be implemented and still ensure that multiple members can devote at least 20-30% of their time to participate and lead the work of APRCEM. On top of that, we have sufficient time for activities in the Asia Pacific region to implement specific activities for international meetings online, and we have sufficient capacity to engage in this policy process.
Our organization meets this criterion because we have officers and offices and addresses (headquarters, secretariat, etc.) in Japan and Solomon Islands.

I am convinced that our organization and our nominees can provide great incubation food for AP-RCEM by presenting knowledge from within and outside the Asia Pacific region, providing ceremonial opportunities for activities, facilitating smooth and comprehensive activities with local governments through collaboration with youth and civil society organizations, and identifying new talents by disseminating this information. I am convinced that we can provide a great deal of incubation food.
Our organization has been implementing educational fields such as peace education and environmental education for youth in the Asia Pacific region, and has been accelerating the achievement of the SDGs by presenting concrete, science-based countermeasures to governments, corporations, and local governments through policy advocacy. I have also been actively working on specific support measures for infrastructure and internet development, taking into account the unique characteristics of each country in the Asia-Pacific region.
That is why, by joining AP-RCEM, I would like to realize a world where no one is left behind, where economic development, environmental conservation, and human rights protection are all compatible, from the Asia-Pacific region by expanding the achievements I have made so far and the entire Asia-Pacific region. To this end, I would like to be a member of this regional committee, and after gathering as much information as possible, I would like to advance the activities in the Asia Pacific region by connecting with appropriate companies, civil society organizations, and funding foundations.

Our main advocacy work is focused on ensuring that the global and regional bodies recognize and integrate the UNDRIP in their policies and programs.

We have developed a wholistic framework which we call “Indigenous Peoples’ Sustainable, Self-Determined Development (IPSSDD) which we are promoting at the grassroots level up to the global level. We hold trainings for our partners on what this is and encourage them to adopt this framework to strengthen their organizations and communities. It brings together the human-rights based development framework, ecosystems-based framework, gender equality and sensitivity, interculturality and the Sustainable Development Goals.
We, the nominated organisation, agree to this nomination as focal points of APRCEM period 2022-2025

At the regional level this is a powerful platform that can be used to further the rights of the Dalits and push for effective implementation of the SDGs.
