6Lake Mills Area Community Foundation
The Lake Mills Community Foundation is the 501c3 that is committed to making Lake Mills a great place to live now and for future generations. The are sponsoring Annie Mulligan, and L-Cat Alumni and Lake Mills native Annie Mulligan won a gold medal March 14 in the 100-meter snowshoe competition at the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Italy. She also won a silver medal in the 400-meter snowshoe relay. Annie is the only representative from Wisconsin on this year’s Special Olympics USA team at the World Winter Games.

The mission of the Rotary Club of Lake Mills is “Service Above Self”. The Rotary Club of Lake Mills meets each Tuesday at 12:00 PM, and the first and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:00PM Consider joining us to meet community-minding individuals with a passion for making the world a better place. Their upcoming events include Wednesday, July 16 an Art Auction to with a "Meet the Artists" reception, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Lewis Station Winery. 11First Congregational UCC
First Congregational Church of Lake Mills has been active in the Lake Mills community since 1847. The Peanut Project was founded in 1955 to raise funds for the new Sunday School. Since then, it has been a community event, raising funds for the church and the community. Everyone is welcome at UCC, no matter where they are in life's journey.

13Friends of the L.D. Fargo Library
Friends of the L.D. Fargo Public Library will sponsor a home garden tour on Saturday, July 19, from 9am to 2pm, rain or shine. Admission is $10 to tour 5 gardens. Look for local artists in the gardens. Proceeds from the tour will be used for the library expansion project. The Friends are also selling raffle tickets for a 5-foot high contemporary landscape sculpture created and donated by local artist, Thomas Skupniewitz. Valued at $800, this steel sculpture is currently located on the front lawn of the library. Raffle tickets are $2 each or $5 for 3. Garden tour and raffle tickets may be purchased downtown after the parade, as well as at the library, the Lake Mills Farmer's Market, July Firefly Night Market, and the gardens on the day of the tour.

Wisconsin Wheelmen demonstrate riding skills on antique (1870 to 1900) bicycles & trikes. A small step on the frame above the rear wheel allows them to climb up and dismount. They are an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and research of pre WWI bikes.

42Lutheran Vanguard of Wisconsin Band
Lutheran Vanguard of Wisconsin is made up of students from nine high schools of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Recognizing the benefits of providing further educational opportunities for the school, and to provide closer ties between the member schools and their students, the schools have pooled their resources into one band, Lutheran Vanguard of Wisconsin (LVW). The band began in the summer of 1978 as the "Fox River Valley Lutheran Youth Band." The first band consisted of ninety-eight students from three schools. Since then the organization has grown to include six other schools with students coming from Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. Over their history, LVW has performed or appeared in Wisconsin, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Wyoming, Alberta, and Ontario. All their success, however, is governed by one basic philosophy: All that they do is done to the glory of our Heavenly Father!
