How to startTo use our template, first go to "File" -> "Make a copy". Add the file to your drive.

1. Social Media Strategy TabCustomize your goals and objectives. Add new Strategy Elements. Add descriptions for each strategy element, goals, KPIs you wish to track, timelines, and teams responsible for running the project

There is also a "Notes" column where you can leave notes for yourself and your team.

Under "Strategy to Achieve Goals and Objectives," add your desired strategy element. Choose a platform and action step.

The "Resources Needed" column helps you and your team keep track of what's needed to achieve the action step.

Give the action step a status and asign a team member. Use the "Notes" column in the same way as for your goals and objectives.

To edit the dropdown list, click on the dropdown and choose the "Edit button." Once there, add new items or modify existing ones.

Copy the strategy headings for convenience when creating a new strategy.

2. Content Calendar TabCustomize your goals and objectives by filling in the "Goal" column with your specific social media objectuve (website traffic, likes, followers, etc.)

Under "Content Type," select the type of content you plan to create (e.g., Video, Text Post, Long-Form Video).

In the "Content Description" column, provide a brief description of the content.

Fill in the "Date Assigned" and "Scheduled Publication Date" columns to keep track of timelines.

Assign a team member to the "Author" column who will be responsible for creating the content.

Select the platform where the content will be published in the "Channel" column (e.g., YouTube, LinkedIn, TwitterX, Other).

Use the "Status" column to indicate the current stage of the content (e.g., Published, In Progress, Idea).

Once the content is finalized, add the link to the published content in the "Final Content Link" column.

Include a visual preview or thumbnail of the content in the "Media Preview" column to give a quick overview.

3. Monthly KPI ReportsThe sheet is divided into quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4) to help you compare performance over different periods.

Each quarter contains three months where you can input the corresponding data.

For each platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), fill in the monthly data for each KPI (e.g., Followers, Impressions, Reach).
