Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act & Inflation Reduction Act - Funding Opportunities and Tax Incentives Tracker

Overview: This tool aims to assist local governments, municipal utilities, research institutions, certain tax-exempt groups, and/or tribes identify funding opportunities and tax programs that are relevant to Michigan and sustainability from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)/Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) passed on November 15, 2021 and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed on August 16th, 2022.

Instructions: In the tabs below, select "Govt & Tribes" or "Research Inst & Community Orgs" to find pre-sorted lists of funding opportunities. Any opportunity's name can then be clicked to go to its full description. At any point, use the "Filter View" function as described in the top left corner of each tab to personalize your view (this function will not affect anyone else's view of the spreadsheet). All opportunities and available information for funding are found in the "Full Descriptions" tab, including any useful external links. Tax credit programs from the IRA with direct pay eligibility relevant to governments, tribes, and other tax-exempt groups can be found in the "Tax Programs" tab.

Note: The primary users of this tracker are Michigan governments and research institutions. The tracker may not be inclusive of opportunities for all Nonprofit & Community Orgs or the State. Please see the "additional funding notes" cell or visit the "additional links" cells for more information on applicant eligibility.
