A panel fastener with interchangeable thread size comprising:a ferrule having a first end adapted for engagement with a hole in a panel and having an interior flange between said first end and a second end; a thumbscrew having a head and a shaft extending from said head, said shaft having a threaded portion near its end opposite said head and a reduced diameter portion intermediate said head and said threaded portion, said thumbscrew shaft carried within said ferrule with said threaded section of said thumbscrew being proximate said first end and said head of said thumbscrew being proximate said second end; a retainer having a maximum dimension greater than the inner diameter of said interior flange of said ferrule, and having a hole sized to mate with threads on the thumbscrew threaded section, said retainer removably carried on the reduced diameter portion of said thumbscrew shaft between the thumbscrew threaded section and said interior flange of said ferrule; and means for preventing relative rotational movement between said retainer and said ferrule comprising on said retainer, a set of three lugs having outer edges forming three points of a hexagonal pattern, and on said ferrule flange, a hexagonal shaped inner surface sized to mate with said retainer lugs.
2. A rack mount panel fastener system having a kit for changing thread size comprising:a ferrule having a first end adapted for engagement with a hole in a panel and having an interior flange between said first end and a second end; a first screw having a head and a shaft extending from said head, said shaft having a threaded portion with a first thread size near its end opposite said head and a reduced diameter portion intermediate said head and said threaded portion; a first retainer having a maximum dimension greater than the inner diameter of said ferrule interior flange, and having a hole sized to mate with said first thread size; said first screw shaft carried within said ferrule with said threaded section being proximate said first end and said head being proximate said second end; and said first retainer carried on the reduced diameter portion of said first thumbscrew shaft between the first end of said ferrule and said interior flange; and a kit comprising: a second screw having a head and a shaft extending from said head, said shaft having a threaded portion with a second thread size, different from said first thread size, near its end opposite said head and a reduced diameter portion intermediate said head and said threaded portion; and a second retainer having a maximum dimension greater than the inner diameter of said ferrule interior flange, and having a hole sized to mate with said second thread size.

A latch comprising: a front portion comprising a proximal upper support; a frame attached to the front portion, the frame comprising: a distal upper support that comprises a first rectangular recess facing down; and a middle lower support forward of the distal upper support and backward of the proximal upper support, wherein the middle lower support comprises a second rectangular recess facing up; a retaining screw that has an upper distal portion in proximity to the distal upper support, that has a middle portion in proximity to the middle lower support, and that has a proximal portion in proximity to the proximal upper support; and a catch that is spring-biased in a counterclockwise direction and engages a retaining hook on a rack that supports a piece of equipment to hold the piece of equipment in the rack, wherein once the catch engages the retaining hook on the rack, the retaining screw may be screwed in to engage a threaded portion of the rack.1. 2. The latch of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of L-shaped retaining members on a side of the latch for engaging corresponding slots on the piece of equipment to which the latch is attached.

The latch of claim 2 wherein when the plurality of L-shaped retaining members engage the corresponding slots on the piece of equipment, at least one hole in the frame aligns with a threaded portion of a hole in the piece of equipment so the latch can be attached to the piece of equipment using one or more screws.
4. The latch of claim 1 wherein the retaining screw comprises a middle shoulder portion spaced from a head portion such that tightening the head portion against the middle lower support causes the middle shoulder portion to tighten against the distal upper support.
5. 2. The fastener as claimed in claim 1, wherein a bottom of the upper limit member (1) is further provided with a claw-type buckle (9) configured to limit a slide limit of the lower limit member (3) along the axis.

The fastener as claimed in claim 1, wherein the limit hole of the upper limit member comprises an upper limit hole (5) and a lower limit hole (6), the pin head (13) comprises an upper pin head and a lower pin head, and the lower pin head protrudes from the upper pin head; and a cross section of the upper limit hole (5) and a cross section of the upper pin head are cyclotomic, and a cross section of the lower limit hole (6) and a cross section of the lower pin head are round, to achieve tight connection through interference fit respectively.
4. The fastener as claimed in claim 1, wherein an inner wall of the upper limit member is provided with a limit boss (12) every 90 degrees, and the upper retainer ring (19) is further provided with an arc groove (25) of the retainer ring; and
when the upper retainer ring (19) rotates in the rotation groove (7), the limit boss forms a transition fit with the arc groove of the retainer ring.
5. The fastener as claimed in claim 1, wherein the upper limit member (1) is further provided with an anti-slip knurled lug and a rotation indicator arrow.
6. The fastener as claimed in claim 1, wherein a bottom of the fastening pin rod (4) is further provided with a T-shaped lock head (17), and the T-shaped lock head (17) is provided with a tool slot (18).

1. An apparatus for securing a cabinet to an upper floor and a sub-floor, comprising:
an anchor bolt having:
a cylindrical bolt head with a plurality of intrusions extending inwardly around a periphery, and adapted for torquing the anchor bolt,a cylindrical body extending distally from the bolt head, having an outer surface with an unthreaded portion and a partially threaded portion, the unthreaded portion providing a bearing surface for lateral loads placed on the bolt head; the bolt head having a first threaded bore extending coaxially into the body, for receiving a threaded member securing the cabinet to the anchor bolt; andthe body having a second threaded bore extending from a distal end of the body coaxially into the body for receiving a threaded member securing the anchor bolt to the sub-floor,wherein the first bore has a first diameter, the second bore has a second diameter, and the first diameter is less than the second diameter.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising:
a trim ring having an annular body to receive therein the anchor bolt, the trim ring adapted to be placed in a hole in the upper floor with the anchor bolt extending through the upper floor;a backing plate with a hole capable of receiving the anchor bolt; anda nut mating to the threaded portion of the anchor bolt for securing the backing plate against a lower surface of the upper floor.
3. The apparatus of claim 2 further comprising:
a toothed lock washer disposed between the backing plate and the nut at the lower surface of the upper floor to resist loosening between the backing plate and nut.
4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the trim ring comprises an upper annulus that holds the anchor bolt head flush against an inner circumference of the trim ring.
5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first bore and the second bore are coupled together, whereby the body of the anchor bolt is hollow.
6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first bore and second bore are not coupled together through the body of the anchor bolt.
7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first diameter is half of an inch and the second diameter is five-eighths of an inch.
8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the intrusions are spaced apart equidistantly around the periphery of the bolt head.
9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the intrusions are U-shaped.
10. A server cabinet assembly comprising:

2. The computer of claim 1 further including a spring engagingly surrounding said screw.
3. The computer of claim 1 wherein said thumb screw assembly is height-adjustable.
4. The computer of claim 1 wherein said thumb screw assembly can be engaged and disengaged without any tools.
5. A computer comprising:
a chassis having a front panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, and a rear panel all mounted on a base and forming a rectangular enclosure; a system board attached to said chassis; a component; and a means for engaging and disengaging said component to said chassis; wherein said means comprises a shank having a groove formed longitudinal therein and a retaining notch and a gripping accessory which is disposed radially about said shank and can be moved longitudinally along at least a portion of said shank, said gripping accessory can be used to turn said shank by engaging said gripping accessory in said notch.
6. The computer of claim 5 further including a spring engagingly surrounding the shank.
7. The computer of claim 5 wherein said fastener can be engaged and disengaged without any tools.
8. The computer of claim 5 wherein the gripping accessory includes a grip, the grip engaging said notch.

2. The plunger of claim 1, the body comprises:
a cutout portion located within an outer surface of the body, the cutout portion to be utilized while the plunger is in the locked position; andan indention located in the outer surface of the body a particular distance from the cutout portion, the indention to the utilized while the plunger is in the unlocked position.
3. The plunger of claim 2, the cap comprises:
a tab extending from a bottom surface of the cap, the tab to be placed in physical contact with the cutout portion when the plunger is in the locked position; anda point extending from the tab, the point to be placed in physical contact with the indention when the plunger is in the locked position.
4. The plunger of claim 3, wherein the point extends from the tab in the same shape as the indention extends within the body.
5. The plunger of claim 3, wherein the point being placed within the indention holds the plunger in the unlocked position.
6. The plunger of claim 1, wherein the rod extends below the nut while the plunger is in the locked position, and is located completely within the nut and the body while the plunger is in the unlocked position.

2. The thumb screw assembly of claim 1 further including a spring engagingly surrounding the shank portion of said screw.
3. The thumb screw assembly of claim 1 wherein the height of said thumb screw assembly is adjustable.
4. The thumb screw assembly of claim 1 wherein said thumb screw assembly can be engaged and disengaged without any tools.

The latch of claim 2 wherein when the plurality of L-shaped retaining members engage the corresponding slots on the piece of equipment, at least one hole in the frame aligns with a threaded portion of a hole in the piece of equipment so the latch can be attached to the piece of equipment using one or more screws.
5. A latch comprising: a front portion comprising a proximal upper support; a frame attached to the front portion, the frame comprising: a distal upper support comprising a first semicircular recess facing down; and a middle lower support forward of the distal upper support and backward of the proximal upper support, the middle lower support comprising a second semicircular recess facing up; a retaining screw that has an upper distal portion in proximity to the distal upper support, that has a middle portion in proximity to the middle lower support, and that has a proximal portion in proximity to the proximal upper support, wherein the retaining screw comprises a middle shoulder portion spaced from a head portion such that tightening the head portion against the middle lower support causes the middle shoulder portion to tighten against the distal upper support; a catch that engages a retaining hook on a rack that supports a piece of equipment to hold the piece of equipment in the rack; and a plurality of L-shaped retaining members on a side of the latch for engaging corresponding slots on a piece of equipment to which the latch is attached, wherein when the plurality of L-shaped retaining member engage the corresponding slots on the piece of equipment, at least one hole in the frame aligns with a threaded portion of a hole in the piece of equipment so the latch can be attached to the piece of equipment using one...

The bonding stud (10) of claim 1, wherein the body (12) has four sides and each side includes between one and three projections.
The bonding stud (10) of claim 1, wherein the at least one projection (16) comprises between four and twelve projections.
