In cases where Remake and Rebirth use OG dialogue, the offcial localization of that dialogue is used. This is to help players recognize when OG dialogue is used in Remake and Rebirth. Sometimes, even though the Japanese text is the same, the English localization in Remake doesn't work in the original game's context. We've had to do a fresh translation of the dialogue in those cases, so those instances are not highlighted.

Given what he and Jessie say here, Barret was potentially supposed to join the party here rather than inside the reactor like in the final game, but as to not overwrite the dialogue there, I've chosen to not make that happen.
