Located in central Waukegan, Illinois, Clearview is a mid-sized elementary school with 467 students from grades PreK-5th grade. Clearview Elementary School serves a diverse student population of approximately 500 students comprised of Monolingual, Dual Language, and Children with Disabilities. Our school is one of the unique elementary school as we have three PreK classrooms and 20% of our students are diverse learners. Collectively and collaboratively, our staff works to meet the needs of those we serve through challenging teaching, inspiring our learners, and continuously pushing ourselves.

Collectively and collaboratively, our staff works to meet the needs of those we serve through using an outward mindset to challenge teaching and inspire our learners. We intentionally pursue excellence through a culture of learning and coaching. We strive to implement best practices in all classrooms, both academically and social-emotionally, to foster the full development of our students and to promote the continuous growth of our staff.

During the 2022-23 school year, we committed to utilizing our common time for grade level team meetings and professional development to learn the new curriculum. In addition, we dedicated ourselves to to collaborate to become driven by data with the new curriculum implementation.

We will focus on areas: Literacy, Math, and our MTSS process. We will utilize data and best practices so that we see a positive difference in student achievement and behavior. Staff will continue to grow and develop implemeting an outward mindset to deliver high quality teaching to every student, every day. #nodaysoff!
