This Google spreadsheet is used to prioritize potential projects for the Research Data Alliance's Vocabulary and Semantic Services Interest Group (link at right).

Assessing interest: The Task Group Suggestions tab (link at right) is used to assess initial interest in each project. If a group is formed (see Forming a Group), it will have a slack channel in a green cell in row 4 on that page. If you want to participate in any of the not-yet-formed projects that may be pursued by this interest group, you can add your name to that project's column. If you do not see a project that addresses the topic you care about, you can propose another topic in a new column by adding its name and description, and adding your name as a volunteer.

How it works: The data from the Task Group Suggestions tab is used to assess the readiness of each group to begin meeting; at least 1 person willing to be chair, and 2 other people, are required to start meetings. The locked tabs, in particular the Sorted Summary of Groups tab (link at right), provide a summary indicating the interest in each group.

Forming a Group: Each group that has enough participation to begin work will be given its own slack channel on the vocabulary-services slack group (link at right). Most work is expected to be coordinated via Slack. To participate in one of these groups, send a link to one of the email addresses/slack participants below to be added to the slack;

Getting on Slack: To get invited to the slack channel for the VSSIG, you can use the link to the right (http://bit.ly/rda-vssig-slack-invite). If that doesn't work, send an email to one of the chairs below, or contact them on slack.
