As you may recall, we launched a consultation for inputs into this report earlier this year – and I’m happy to say that these inputs were very well received by our partners, and included extensively throughout the report. Friday, 14 July 09:00 - 14:00Beyond VNRs: Global Workshop on Civil Society "Parallel Reports" for SDG 16TAP Network; co-hosted with Article 19, Transparency International, and Asian Development AllianceUN Church Center, Second Floor (777 United Nations Plaza, Corner of First Avenue and East 44th Street)This workshop will showcase existing reporting efforts from across civil society to provide an opportunity to facilitate peer-learning, and will provide an opportunity for sharing of best practices regarding methodologies, approach, guidelines and templates for civil society reports on SDG16. Breakout groups will allow for in-depth discussions on these various aspects of parallel reporting, which will be facilitated by experts on SDG monitoring and accountability. The results of these discussions will feed into ongoing work of the TAP Network Paper on “Approaches and Methodologies for [Civil Society/Parallel/Shadow/Spotlight Reporting] on SDG16” which aims to provide further guidance for civil society on SDG16 reporting. This work around civil society reporting on SDG16 will be a big part of TAP’s long-term work, so we hope that this workshop will be useful to not only help many of you begin to think about reporting on SDG16, but to learn from many of you who have already reported as well.https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beyond-vnrs-global-workshop-on-civil-society-parallel-reports-for-sdg16-tickets-35634606066https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beyond-vnrs-global-workshop-on-civil-society-parallel-reports-for-sdg16-tickets-35634606066
