We are also focusing on people / groups unlikely to join the main rally in Oxford and encourage them to host meetings in communities /workplaces /lunchclubs etc.áross the county on the day. Aim to produce simple material;s that anyone can print up. be interesetd to discuss / cooperate with other groups.@OxfordFOE1Uncertain - we have other work on climate change and Oxford has a huge number of meetings on the topic.

Swale FoEFaversham Will have a presence in the recreation ground where the Youth Strike is going to be focused to support them and also a stall in the market square to encourage people to get involved in the Global Strike, talk about and share information around climate issues, talk about what our local authority is already doing (quite a lot) and give them something to take back to work with them. Also display detailed flood maps of the north Kent area which show the likely effects of flooding close to Faversham.@swale_foeNot yet - but are starting to recruit people to campaign on this issue so a social/induction event would be a good idea and helpful for us to do.
