Hello and welcome to our Textbook Recommendations! We understand that university is expensive, especially in a professional program, so we are hoping to save you a bit of money by highlighting which textbooks are absolute requirements, which ones you can pass, and which you can obtain for free.

The list of recommended textbooks was obtained from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Website (www.pharm.ualberta.ca), and was updated as of August 7, 2013. We have added which semesters we believe the books will be most useful to you, where you can obtain a free copy (if needed), and whether we believe you require the textbook or not (i.e. can you do well in the course without it). Do not let these recommendations stop you from buying a textbook; they are just what we think you can get away with if you need to save a few hundred dollars!

While we strive to provide accurate information, this cannot always be done. If you notice any errors or suggestions, please feel free to contact us at studybuffalo@studybuffalo.com. Thanks to Madeleine Durrant and Melissa Chung for their assistance in compiling this information.
