Also note the remaining small allocation to JEWEL:UST will be removed. In order to give all adequate time to adjust, we are going to make these changes to emissions in 18 hours from now, so ~11:15am EST. These adjustments will be made until more information is publicly available on the status with the bridge and related assets. We hope for more detail to come out soon and for a good outcome and full recovery, but for now, in efforts of effective crisis management, we need to preserve the integrity of the DFK DEX and ensure incentives are going towards tokens with more reliable value and pricing. Since our last announcement, we have been keeping an eye on the Harmony situation, listening to the community and make a plan. The Harmony situation has not changed a lot. The hacker is tornadoing more and more funds and the chances of recovering funds are looking slim. There has not been much news yet as to what Harmony will do in case the funds are not recovered. This is understandable, it is an extremely difficult situation with no easy answers. At the end of the day though, Harmony is our home and we can't abandon it. The chain still works and as long as it doesn't completely shut down, we want to keep building here. There is people working around the clock to save Harmony and this is not the time to turn our backs on them and leave. However, we do realise that not everyone wants to invest in the Harmony ecosystem at this point and do not feel it is safe to do so. That is absolutely fine and we understand. For that reason, and to make sure Knights & Peasants will survive this situation, we are opting for a multichain approach. We will launch Knights & Peasants on Avalanche, while keeping our ecosystem alive and thriving on Harmony and actively develop it. We will give equal care to development on both chains. Here are some specifics on how this will work: - Knights and Peasants will launch on Avalanche with a new token and revamped tokenomics. - On Avalanche, Knight NFTs will not be the main source of emissions. The main emission model will be a mix of a yield farm with fixed emissions and quest rewards. - Quests will be available at launch on Avalanche, giving Knights immediate earning utility through quests. When quests launch on Avalanche, they will too on Harmony. This puts our launch on Avalanche at least 4-6 weeks out. - There will be a new mint of 5000 Knights on Avalanche. A part of this will be free mints for existing holders on Harmony. - Knight NFT holders on Harmony will receive a few free mints on the new chain, roughly at a ratio of 1 free mint per 3 Knight NFT's owned, with a cap of 5 Knights. - The Knight NFT collection on Avalanche will gain a few additional traits - This means new weapon types and new armor will be added. - Knight upgrades will be revamped on Avalanche. Their upgrade costs will be drastically reduced as they don't offer additional emissions anymore, but they will still have their use in quests. - Peasant NFT holders on Harmony will receive a few free mints on Avalanche as well. This will likely be around the same ratio as Knights, with a cap. Depending on how much Peasants you can claim for free, you will also receive a small amount of wage tokens. - Snapshots of current holdings have been taken today at 9 AM CET. - We are still deciding if we want to launch on the new chain with a DEX of our own and have multiple farms ( KNIGHT - new chain token and KNIGHT - USDC for example), OR contact the leading DEX on the chain and see what's possible there. We have the code ready to deploy our own DEX if we want to. So, this is our plan. Again, we just can not turn our backs on Harmony now, and will keep fighting for our project's success on this chain. We will build here, have community events here and have fun together. The damage to Harmony is done, but it's not dead. At the end of the day, we believe in our product and want to bring a fun experience to our holders here, while keeping hopes up for Harmony as a chain and as a community to pull through this.
