He had a fierce connection with animals, his intelligence was far beyond his years, and he was an involved member of Jared's Keepers at THS. Griffin passed away on October 2, 2022. This scholarship will act as a reminder of the one-of-a-kind person Griffin was and the importance of looking out for others.

In 2022, the Illinois Chapter gave out over $15,000 to incoming students in scholarships. In 2023, we plan to give out more depending upon a qualified pool of candidates. Scholarships range from $500-$4,000.

StatewideMarquis Energy - Illinois: What Fuels You Scholarship2/8/233/1/24https://marquisinc.com/scholarships/This year Marquis is offering the Marquis "What Fuels You" Scholarship, awarding a total of $10,000 in scholarships with up to two $2,500 scholarships for all students that live within a 90-mile radius of Hennepin and will be enrolled in college, graduate school, or a technical institute for the Fall 2024 semester. The scholarship requires applicants to complete three essay questions (500-750 words) and provide one teacher recommendation. We will be accepting applications until March 1st, 2024.

two Tazewell County high school seniors, one each to a male and a female, for use in post high
school education at an accredited educational institution. Acceptable educational institutions include 2-year junior college, 4-year college or university or an
accredited trade school.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of one of the following counties in Illinois where Bob Quarello served during his law enforcement career: Fulton, Mason, Peoria, or Tazewell.
If the applicant is a current or former explorer within the W.D. Boyce Council, the residency
requirement is expanded to include the counties of the WD. Boyce Council which are Bureau, DeWitt, Ford, Fulton, LaSalle, Livingston, Logan, Marshall, Mason, McLean, Peoria, Putnam, Tazewell, and Woodford. Applicants may include current college students or high school graduating seniors. College or university to be attended need not be an Illinois institution; however, it must be accredited or recognized as an approved program in the field of study.
Scholarship winners will be awarded a minimum of $500.00, depending on availability of funding.
