Synergy Software Design (SSD)Michael RussalesiSSD is a small business that has been providing custom software and geospatial solutions to federal customers for over 13 years. Synergy Software Design offers enterprise solutions, business analysis, and custom software development including desktop & web-based systems for GIS, engineering management & 3D planning. SSD has successfully developed 3D spatial applications and databases, integrated new and existing technologies, and supported rapid decision making at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) to demonstrate the Navy’s first enterprise-wide, three-dimensional scene visualization tool (SPIDERS 3D) for Navy and Marine Corps installations. Navy planners and engineers use the SPIDERS 3D tool to support major defense acquisition programs by visualizing platform-to-shore interface design concepts and by identifying potential incompatibilities and risks early in the design process. The program currently contains more than 100 virtual 3D Navy and Marine Corps installations and 300 different 3D models of weapon platforms, shore support equipment, shore infrastructure and base facilities.Software Development, CAD, 3D, VRMember only

MBARIMike McCannThe mission of MBARI is to achieve and maintain a position as a world center for advanced research and education in ocean science and technology, and to do so through the development of better instruments, systems, and methods for scientific research in the deep waters of the ocean. MBARI leads in the development of robotic vehicles that record observations of the marine environment. Understanding the data acquired through these activities is enhanced through the use of 3D data visualization technology. Key to MBARI's success is the adoption of open source and standards-based software, which has helped us build durable data management systems. One of these systems is the Spatial Temporal Oceanographic Query System (STOQS) which is actively used to visualize data from all types of oceanographic observing platforms. STOQS uses X3D Geospatial to present 3D views of data directly in web browsers. More information is available at http://www.stoqs.org/.Geospatial, X3DOM1) Improved workflow for texture mapped (including photographic image overlay) multibeam sonar and lidar acquired bathymetric data. 2) Improved gltf integration.

EDFChristophe MoutonElectricité de France (EDF) owns Europe’s largest decarbonated electricity generation assets. Based in France as the historical public-owned Power utility, her engineers have been involved in X3D development since 2005 and used this opensource XML-based ISO-ratified format to visualize with web technologies her massive assets. EDF is also involved in several standardization works related to data interoperability, digital mock-ups and digital twins. EDF is chairing the French AFNOR/CP IDMI mirror committee of the ISO/TC 184 and its SC 4 subcommittee dedicated to standardization of industrial data.X3DOM, CAD, long term archiving, VR, Digital Printing and Scanning
