These sheets provide codes for the notching of marginal scutes of turtles for permanent identification.

The first worksheet ("master list") is simply a single row of notch codes, beginning with A and ending with UVWYX, a total of 12,615 unique combinations.

The second worksheet ("Datasheet") is a series of ready to print data sheets, with each page containing 4 columns of codes, totalling 172 notch codes per sheet. There are 22 pages, for a total of 3,784 unique combinations (codes).

Note that the codes provided here do not include the use of the marginals over the bridge: E, F, G, and R, S, T.
