This directory was created by Higher Education Licensure Pros LLC (HELP) for Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC) listing licensed professions and occupations that require postsecondary education, and the licensing board or agency that regulates. This is not an exhaustive list of all licensing boards in every state/territory. Information is current for each jurisdiction as of August 2024.

In some instances a website, email or phone number is None found. These are designated as "None found" in the directory. If a state/territory does not license that profession or occupation, "none" or "N/A" is indicated in Column B. If HELP was unable to locate any information about that profession, "unknown" is listed in Column B.

State/Territory boards change links and contact information from time-to-time. All information will be reviewed and updated (as needed) on an annual basis. Updates from v.1 to v.2 are highlighted in yellow on each state/territory tab. Updates from v.2 to v.3 are highlighted in green on each state/territory tab.
