About your LEs

Notes for students in the ADes (Technical Design sub-plan) program- Completion of your liberal education is not required before completing major coursework. Often, students take a combination of major courses and LEs each semester

First-year Apparel Design students will select a sub-plan during the Spring semester of their first year. This decision is made in consulatation with faculty and advisors. For students who are undecided about which sub-plan to select, we recommend the Fashion + Technical Design plan as that keeps all options open.

- Transfer coursework, Advanced Placement (AP) or IB credits may satisfy one or more LE requirement

- Review your APAS for remaining requirements; if you have satisfied all LE requirements before your final semester, consult with your academic advisor for course options
