Capable pair. Horse tends to duck behind to contact to avoid the connection. Work to develop better reach into the contact.

Working to develop a more active transisiton to walk turn at B or E in a working jog. Make a transisiton to walk all the while sending the horse 3 steps sideways. Fluff the reins and don't hold the contact to encouraging in the the nose to go out. Next make quick transistions around the ring trot walk trot. Becareful not to use to much hand and almost think the horse will jig into walk. It is ok if the horse comes above the bit at this moment so he takes his nose out. Our goal is to encourage an active walk. Keeps your hips swinging in the transisiton to walk so your body keeps telling the horse forward.
