|Nick sent us this email about facial recognition in Airports:|
I was listening to the story about facial recognition being used in airports on DTNS today. A few years ago I was flying from Wellington to Australia and I was able to get through security by swiping my passport through a machine and standing a set distance away from a camera until it gave me the all clear. From my understanding it was using some sort of facial recognition to match me to my passport and let me through security. It worked perfectly and I was shocked at how easy it was to do.
