I just had a look at the 434.5 MB file and it's the old, incorrect art - the one where the type looks distorted as is missing it's drop shadow:

I'm not sure what is causing such a significant difference in file size, but I'm extremely grateful that you brought it to my attention! Good looking out!
This is the correct file to use, unless you or your designer see some other issue that I am not aware of. This is the original artwork that has been placed into that AI template.

Thank you for providing the demonstration images. It was my understanding that they were being popped into a template so they would be scaled down. I have scaled them down so that the longest side is 123mm - the other two sides will just be cut off by a mm. Does that work?

Yes the cards fits into a 70x120mm die cut line perfectly, with the bleed area 76x126mm. We actually only need 73x123mm of bleeding(Add 1.5 mm to each side).

See the screenshot below, the black line is die cut line. Have you noticed that more art can be showed when the artwork is scaled to 73x123mm? BTW, when the artwork is scaled, the DPI will be higher.
We've talked about this before, and you made a video of it for us Do you remenber? That's why I'm asking you now if you want to do it at this time.

So If don't want to lose any part of artwork, scaling your 76x126mm artwork to 73x123mm is the best way.

One of your friends' deck had very obvious blotches and streaks in her cards and was told AFTER production (never before) that the lamination process was a handmade one...We have not heard of it yet :/
May I know her name or the name of her deck please? :) We haven't had any such mistakes so far so we're very confused...

As for the mistake of color proof, we assume you're talking about Pierce Cat. We had been communicating with her these days. She may not be satisfied with the color of the box...This involves the color format of the file, the CMYK, and RGB. It was our negligence that we didn't remind her that there were both CMYK and RGB in the designer file.
We have been discussing with her the compensation scheme since then. But not workable. As for the matter of burning the decks, we said we would refund her the full cost including the freight and she can reprint her deck, but just to be fair, so we wanted her to burn the decks we had printed...

I'm sorry our company left a bad impression on you. I enjoy communicating with you to discuss the details of the project.
I know it's too late now, I hope your decks will print perfectly on your current printer:)

I apologize for the delay, and no hard feelings at all, please don't worry. It was my feeling that HK Global is very aware of these customers and problems and didn't need any specifics from me. Maybe the company is now compartmentalized, I don't know.

My one friend had very obvious blotches and streaks in her cards and was told AFTER production (never before) that the lamination process was a handmade one and there were no guarantees. Her customers are now complaining and asking for free replacement decks.

My other friend paid for a color proof, and when her big shipment of decks arrived, the colors were very different than the proof she received and approved. When she tried to negotiate some type of financial refund towards reprinting the decks, she was advised that she would have to burn the decks that were sent to her and provide video evidence of such.

I don't want any hard feelings, I have seen the beautiful success of other decks created by HK Global, however as a small business I cannot take these kinds of risks at this time. I have no doubt in the abilities of HK Global and I wish you nothing but great success in the future!

Chloe, your customer support was wonderful and caring, and I wouldn't change a thing about my experience with you. I truly wish that we could work together and I hope you don't feel bad. Thank you so much for everything you've done, I really appreciate you.

Though we love working with you personally, we have decided to go with another printing company. My two creator friends that worked with HK Global had major problems with the coloring and finish of their cards, one even after purchasing proofs. When they brought up the quality issues, one was told that this was a handmade process and there were no guarantees on the outcome. We simply cannot take that risk at this time, and we can't work without any guarantees on quality.

This was not an easy choice, we really love working with you personally, and I'm sorry that we won't be able to continue. I hope you understand.

I just had a look at the 434.5 MB file and it's the old, incorrect art - the one where the type looks distorted as is missing it's drop shadow:

I'm not sure what is causing such a significant difference in file size, but I'm extremely grateful that you brought it to my attention! Good looking out!
This is the correct file to use, unless you or your designer see some other issue that I am not aware of. This is the original artwork that has been placed into that AI template.

Our company rule is that proofs can only be sent to the customer for confirmation in JPG format to protect the rights and interests of the company and customers. But now I feel I need to explain it to you in more detail! The proof in JPG format sent to you is not intended to be printed, the files we sent to the printing department was the original AI files, there will be hyperlinks in the file. The hyperlink will have the original files you sent us.

I'm not sure my explanation will make sense to you, my words must be confused... In short, any files that will be printed will be your original files, and the quality or DPI will not change.

Thank you for providing the demonstration images. It was my understanding that they were being popped into a template so they would be scaled down. I have scaled them down so that the longest side is 123mm - the other two sides will just be cut off by a mm. Does that work?

Yes the cards fits into a 70x120mm die cut line perfectly, with the bleed area 76x126mm. We actually only need 73x123mm of bleeding(Add 1.5 mm to each side).

See the screenshot below, the black line is die cut line. Have you noticed that more art can be showed when the artwork is scaled to 73x123mm? BTW, when the artwork is scaled, the DPI will be higher.
We've talked about this before, and you made a video of it for us Do you remenber? That's why I'm asking you now if you want to do it at this time.

So If don't want to lose any part of artwork, scaling your 76x126mm artwork to 73x123mm is the best way.

As for the mistake of color proof, we assume you're talking about Pierce Cat. We had been communicating with her these days. She may not be satisfied with the color of the box...This involves the color format of the file, the CMYK, and RGB. It was our negligence that we didn't remind her that there were both CMYK and RGB in the designer file.
We have been discussing with her the compensation scheme since then. But not workable. As for the matter of burning the decks, we said we would refund her the full cost including the freight and she can reprint her deck, but just to be fair, so we wanted her to burn the decks we had printed...

I'm sorry our company left a bad impression on you. I enjoy communicating with you to discuss the details of the project.
I know it's too late now, I hope your decks will print perfectly on your current printer:)

I apologize for the delay, and no hard feelings at all, please don't worry. It was my feeling that HK Global is very aware of these customers and problems and didn't need any specifics from me. Maybe the company is now compartmentalized, I don't know.

I don't want any hard feelings, I have seen the beautiful success of other decks created by HK Global, however as a small business I cannot take these kinds of risks at this time. I have no doubt in the abilities of HK Global and I wish you nothing but great success in the future!

Chloe, your customer support was wonderful and caring, and I wouldn't change a thing about my experience with you. I truly wish that we could work together and I hope you don't feel bad. Thank you so much for everything you've done, I really appreciate you.

We simply cannot take that risk at this time, and we can't work without any guarantees on quality.
