7/23/20147At the clinic I added lap reports of patients into their files and I also put other paperwork into patients' files. I also organized paperwork for one of the nurses there and I checked off the rest of the July check ins for the patients' payments. 14 hours

7/24/20147I checked off the patients' payments for the months of January, February, March, April and May and I also assisted a nurse with a physical for 2 patients. I also assisted with the nurses at the front desk to check in people. 21 hours

7/25/20147I put refill papers from the pharmacy into patients' files and I put abnormal lap reports into files. I also made cards to send out to patients that included family plans and coupons. I also filed folders of patients back into the cabinets. 28 hours

8/16/20144 hoursIn the morning when I got there I walked the dogs in the kennels while another nursed cleaned the kennels. I also washed towels, cleaned kennels, held a dog for a nurse while she was injecting it, watched the doctor sow a dog's foot, helped wash a goat, and I washed bowls.4 hours

8/18/20143 hours and 30 minutesToday I helped a nurse with a euthanasia of a dog, prepared dogs in the animal hospital to go back to their owners, fed cat with a syringe, fed the dogs and cats and gave them water, cleaned kennels, cleaned animals after surgery, washed towels, washed bowls, and I mopped and swept the animal hospital.7 hours and 30 minutes

8/19/20143 hours and 30 minutesToday I cleaned up dogs and cats' kennels in the isolation room, washed, dried, and organized bowls, clean kennels, fed and gave water to the animals and I fed and cleaned kennels of dogs in an intesive care room. 11 hours

8/30/20144 hoursToday I walked the dogs in the morning while one of the nurses cleaned the kennels, cleaned kennels, gave water to the dogs and cats, cleaned kennels in an isolation room, helped with the treatment of a dog with wounds on its hip, cleaned kennels in the surgery room, gave water to the dogs in the isolation room, cleaned off the tables in surgery, swept the surgery room, washed towels, washed bowls, and saw a vet put a dog under for surgery for rectal bleeding. 19 hours

9/6/20144 hoursToday I walked the dogs in the morning and cleaned out the kennels when I came back from walking them. I helped one of the nurses with a treatment for a dog and a cat, washed towels, hung up towels, cleaned kennels in the front, separated syringes from their needles, was taught how to give injections, brought dog food to the pharmacy in the front of the animal hospital, refilled kitty litter, cleaned kennels in the surgery room, helped bring 2 dogs to the back kennels, and I tagged dogs in the kennels. I also helped put cages in the front of the hospital for kittens and dogs that were being given away, helped vaccine a bird, helped give shot to a chicken, helped trim a cat's nails, filled up syringes with medicine, watched nurses give injections to the dogs, brought gurnies to the front of the hospital when the power went out, unpackaged syringes, cleaned garage, helped give IV fluids to a dog and brought back gurnies to the garage. 23 hours

9/13/20144 hoursIn the morning I walked the dogs and cleaned their kennels after I brought them back. I also sweeped and mopped the hospital, helped with the treatment of a dog and a cat, helped with the injection of a guinea pig, gave the animals water, washed towels, hung up towels on the clothes line, unpackaged syringes, and brought dog and cat food to the pharmacy and to a customer's car. 27 hours

9/27/20143 hours and 30 minutesIn the morning I walked the dogs, cleaned surgical utensils, stapled paperwork and did laundry. I also hung up towels on the clothes line, gave water to the cats, walked the dogs in isolation, cleaned the kennels in isolation, cleaned kennels in the other part of the animal hospital, sweeped and mopped the animal hospital and unpackaged syringes. I also separated needles from syringes, helped with putting a microchip in a dog, cleaned kennels in the surgery room and fed a cat. 30 hours and 30 minutes

10/4/20144 hours and 30 minutesIn the morning, I walked the dogs, gave water to the dogs and cats, cleaned kennels in two isolation rooms and tagged a cat. Later on I watched one of the nurses treat a dog, brought a gurnie to the front of the hospital from the garage, I injected a cat, helped with a treatment of a dog, helped with the treatment of a puppy, gave food to a puppy in a syringe, and gave IV fluids to that puppy. I also gave IV fluids to another dog, did the laundry, hung up towels and blankets on the clothes line, folded towels and blankets, swept and mopped the garage, tagged a dog, washed the dishes, put a baby pig into a box with a towel, cleaned behind the kennels, unpackaged syringes, and dumped out water from the mop bucket and filled it with fresh water. 35 hours

10/11/20144 hoursIn the morning, I walked the dogs, cleaned the kennels in the isolation room, washed towels, hung up towels on the clothes line, folded towels, and brought the gurnie to the front of the animal hospital. I also brought newspaper that a lady donated to the back of the animal hospital, cleaned the kennels in the surgery room, unpackaged syringes, took out the trash, swept the surgery room, and cleaned the incubator. I also took the newspapers to the isolation room, brushed a cat's hair, gave water to a cat, moved bags of cat litter to a shelf, swept and mopped the garage, mopped in the isolation room, helped with a treatment of a Yorkie, helped with a treatment of a cat, filled up a syringe with medicine, helped removed bandages from a dog, walked the dogs in isolation, separated needles from syringes, and helped with a treatment of another cat. 39 hours

10/18/20144 hoursIn the morning I washed towels, hung up towels on the clothes line, folded towels, walked the dogs, brought a dog to the front of the anima hospital with a patient, watched and helped with a stitching of a dog, cleaned kennels, and transferred dogs to different kennels. I also tagged dogs, cleaned kennels in the surgery room, helped with a treatment of a poodle, put medicine into a fridge, brought dog food to the pharmacy, saw puppies, who were Yorkies, get their tails and claws cut off, watched nurse give iv fluids to a Cocker Spaniel, and gave a penicillin shot to a dog. Lastly, I watched a cat be drawn blood, loaded up a box with pill bottles(medium and large), helped give iv fluids to a Yorkie, swept and mopped the garage, fixed dog and cat food onto shelves in the garage, put cardboard boxes next to the dumpster, received 2 syringes of pencillin from a nurse to treat a dog, took muzzle off a dog, swept a kennel that had plastic pieces on the floor, unpackaged syringes, helped with the stitching of a dog ,who bit off his stitches, and mopped near the front entrance of the animal hospital. 43 hours

10/25/20144 hours In the morning, I cleaned towels, took out the trash, walked the dogs, cleaned kennels, hung up towels on the clothes line, folded towels, gave water to the animals, swept the hospital, and mopped the hospital. Later, I unpackaged syringes, cleaned the kennels in the surgery room, helped sedate a dog, cleaned a kennel in the isolation room, gave food and water to a cat, put an owner's dog into the isolation room, helped draw blood from a Yorkie dog, swept the surgery room, and helped with the treatment of a cat.47 hours

11/1/20143 hoursIn the morning, I walked the dogs, cleaned the kennels, gave water to the animals, helped with the treament of a dog, helped give eye drops to a dog, helped with the treatment of a cat, fed a cat with food inside a syringe, and cleaned the kennels in the isolation room. Later, I put blankets in the kennels for some of the dogs, brought an owner's dog to the garage because it passed away, and helped give iv fluids to a kitten. I helped treat a dog, cleaned the kennels, walked the dog, and fed the dog in another isolation room we have at the animal hospital. Finally, I swept and mopped the animal hospital, cleaned the bowls, moved a dog to a different kennel, helped clean mats, put a cat in a isolation room, and helped remove stitches of a cat.50 hours
